Although I don't think Everton are really going to go for this player seeing that Howard is doing a pretty good job, I do think Stijnen may be on the shortlist if you ever need a goalkeeper. I disagree ... Fellaini and Kompany are the best performing Belgians but Marouane isn't the most complete player, at least not in my eyes ... I have to say Witsel is the most complete player. I really like him and I rate him a lot higher than Fellaini and Kompany! The guy's got everything, pace(although you wouldn't say that when you see him run), aerial ability, technique, stamina, he can get forward, he can score and defensively he's not that bad either. And he's only 19 ... If you want my advise on who's the biggest Belgian prospect ... than I'd go for Witsel, followed by Hazard and Dembele.

He won't come to Everton and it's probably for the best ... He's a fine player but I don't think he's got what it takes to succeed in the PL at least not yet anyway. And besides Genk won't let him go until they get a bid around 5-6 million ... Rumour has it that they turned down a bid from about 4-5 million for 17 year old Defour ... If they have a fine player in their squad they'll only sell him for an insane bid ... and yes ... 5-6 million is considered a big bid in Belgium, isn't that sad ...

I don't really understand what you're trying to say ... I just meant that in Belgium Fellaini used his elbows in the air almost every single time (didn't give him the best reputation, not with the fans of other teams and not with the refs.)

Actually I rate Kompany as high as Fellaini! And as a supporter of Bruges, arch rival of both Anderlecht(Kompany) and Standard(Fellaini) I think i'm qualified to judge them both. Fellaini's great but so is Kompany, he's got great physical presence, (he might not have shown it in England yet but) he can get forward as well, for een defensive midfielder/defender he's got great technique, ... Fellaini or Kompany, I really don't know which one is better.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about Fellaini's yellow card rate! I recall he collected over 10 yellow cards in his first season at Standard and in the Belgian First League. Last season he made a wager with someone (don't know the exact details) and he succeeded in only gathering 2 or 3 yellow cards in the entire first round. I reckon that Fellaini still needs to adjust to the tempo of the PL, once he's fully settled and gets a tiny bit faster, he won't need those little faults anymore and won't be in the 'spotlight' of the referees anymore. His elbows ... the part of his game I hate the most ... will still take some time. But in Belgium it was far worse so he really is learning! Although I was a little surprised with his elbows at the corner kick ... I never saw him doing anything like that in Belgium ... at least not when he wasn't in the air. Fellaini is a big talent and I think you won't regret making him your record signing!

Hi everyone! I'm a new member from Belgium and as I have noticed, I'm not the only Belgian here. And seeing that there are a lot of Belgian players(Defour, Witsel, Hazard, Dembele, ...) who could move to the PL I thought the title was fitting. I wish you Toffees a great second round of the season! Hope you finish in front of Arsenal and kick Liverpool's ass in the two coming games! And if you keep those strikers on the bench, I think you got a excellent chance at making a serious bid for European footbal and maybe even CL!
