  2. Lorik Cana says he will back out of a move to Hamburg should Everton launch a last-gasp £6million bid in the next 24 hours. The Marseille midfielder was supposed to complete a move to Germany over the weekend, but a late hitch put the move in doubt. The 25-year-old is set to leave the French club this summer, with Marseille having already splashed out on another Everton target, Stephane M'bia, as a replacement for the Albania international. Cana, who has also been watched by Tottenham and Arsenal, said: 'Everton are interested, they are a very good club. I also have other options in Italy.' Everton also maintain an interest in Cardiff's Joe Ledley.

  4. I really couldn't call this one. On one hand I think Lescott's loyal and will stay at goodison next season no matter how much money city throw at him, but then again anything could happen. If Man city where to offer 20 million and Moyes got sum players in (to replace Lescott) then I wouldn't mind as much. But it would HAVE to be 20 MILLION or OVER, in order for me not mind him going as much. Although, if we did sell him, and moyes got his 20 mill, would we still get the players we want? I mean, Kyle Naughton for example. We had agreed a 5 million deal, and then everything gets changed because tottenham get involved. M'bia - everything looked good, and then he changes his mind. And because Moyes takes a while to actually sign players, I don't no if we would have enough time to get all the players that we would need. Well, I hope Lescott stays personally. But if he goes (for 20 million or more) then maybe, I might come around to the idea.

  7. Toffees line up Defour deal - The Sun Everton are closing in on a £12million deal for Standard Liege midfielder Steven Defour. Can Defour make the same impact as Marouane Fellaini? (From Sky Sports Paper Talk)

  9. Unlikely, but possible. I'd gladly have Scholes at goodison.
  10. We need another RB, or another CDM, to cover neville so he can play RB Another LM, to cover pienaar. Pienaar is awsome but what if he gets injured? Another stricker, cus yakubu, saha and vaughan aren't great. Yeah there good players, but we need just one player of pure brilliance to grab us some goals. And maybe another midfielder, like Moutinho. Although i doubt we will get him. Thats what I think anyways. COYB x
  11. Just seen it on sky sports news. Owen has had a knee medical and is going to have a full medical today. He's on his way to Manchester as I type this. Ah well just hope saha breaks his f*cking legs when we play united
  12. Yeah its true. Mustafi is a young german guy, who's meant to be highly rated in germany. He's menna be one of the best rising talents in germany. And peterlin is an american bloke, dno much about him though. He had a good trial and moyes thought he was good enough.

  17. Michael Owen is a legend. One of England's best ever strickers. And I will support him the whole way (if he joins us), just as every other everton player.

  19. I was excited about M'bia coming to everton. He seemed like a good player, but after seeing that I just think he's a bit of a twat now.
  20. I see what you mean about the disappointment. I check all the lastest everton (and general) trasnfer news everyday. A few weeks ago setanta had reported that everton where in talks with Moutinho, only for the roumers to die then down. But if there's one top player that I recon everton will get, it is Owen. He still has the time to become England's best stricker once again.
  21. Nothing certain, just an interesting read. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/ju...etoo-nistelrooy I wouldn't mind him.
  22. ah well, at least we should be getting a new, decent RB.
  23. ahh thanks any1 got any ideas about why it says 'toffie lady' in the bit to the left when i am clearly male and i have set my gender to male?
  24. i looked on page 508 and it didn't say anything about owen
