A squad of Everton u17s fly out to Brazil on Friday for 10 days to take part in the prestigous Future Champions Tournament 2010, held in Belo Horizonte, a host city in the 2014 World Cup. Teams are actually invited to the tournament through reputation and quality, so it is kind of an honour that we were asked to play, one of only 3 teams from Europe (Barcelona and PSG being the others) and that out of only 12 participating teams.

We are in Group C with Corintians of Brazil and Club America of Mexico.
The squad travelling is made up of some first year scholars (those born in 1994) and some u16s.
