  1. Straight from the Moyesiah`s mouth....taken from OS

David Moyes hopes to make at least four signings ahead of Monday's transfer deadline.

The Everton manager secured his second major summer acquisition on Tuesday, tieing up a five-year deal for Russian international midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.

And, speaking at a press conference ahead of Thursday's Europa League play off second leg against Sigma Olomouc, Moyes said he is confident Everton are making headway in their pursuit of additional new faces.

"I would be disappointed if we didn't get at least four, maybe more," he said.

"We've made quite a bit of progress I feel and maybe I'll be able to announce something shortly, but not yet.

"The job is to try and make it [the squad] stronger every year and that's what we'll aim to do."

    :thumbsup_still:

  2. Agree with one of the comments above about the 'klingon' comment. When he was playing for us and some of that crap was coming out, people were leaping to his defence and slagging opposition fans for being so cruel and ignorant.

Lets try and keep the moral high ground here. He's gone, we've recieved a great price and getting angry and bitter over it all is not really going to do us any favours. Although having said that I expect a hell of a reception when we play city.

Agree with the above...we need to maintain the high ground. At the end of the day, as someone already said, he is not an Evertonian, and to him, playing for us was a job. Would any of you, offered 3 times your salary for doing the same job, stay loyal to your current employer? For him it is a job... our passion is deeper, but doesn't mean he is a crap bloke.

Was a top player for us, hope he is shite for them, but lets leave the kiddy jibes at home!

Top player......beg to differ,as previous posts have said "Jagielka made him look good" remember start of last season how badly he was exposed,it was only when Jags moved back that the ship steadied.

Look at the stats for the defenders for last season regarding tackles, blocks, clearances etc and you will find he is near the bottom, his only plus was his goals. But like everyone has said he is not our concern anymore so lets move on

As for "kiddy jibes" think you will find it will be a bit more heated when he returns

  3. What a pair of pricks !!!

Lescott the fuckin klingon sayin he was disappointed in Moyes`s comments regarding his attitude

what did you expect fuck face ??? did you expect Moyes to let you spit your dummy out and stamp your feet like a spoilt little fucker, you stupid brummie prick.

Then he had the fuckin audacity to say Man City was better equiped to challenge the "Sky 4" rubberheaded prick, pick up your 90k a week,I hope you break your leg and have to cut short your career "TIT".

Then their was lego head Hughes who spluttered his way through the press conference like the amateur he is.He could not put a sentance together.

Talk about people with no class having money......You know it will all turn sour and you will be replaced at the drop of a hat.

  4. I really do hope we get Distin as he is a quality player who will be able to cover at LB also.

£5-6m in my opinion is a bit OTT considering his age but the market is overpriced anyway.

I know he is 32 but has got a good few years ahead of him and has a wealth of experience at the top.

Him and Hangeland and maybe Bangera and we will be ok

Hope its sorted before the game at the weekend.

  5. Lets look at it this way.......would we go to London to apply for a work permit for someone with just a name to hand over.

"So Mr Elstone who is this player you would like a work permit for ?"

"erm think Ive spelt his name right.....Ever Bangera, does it look right Davey ?"

They would need documentation....ie passport details, previous positions, work experience. This would all have to be sent by his advisors or Valencia themselves.

If it is right and Valencia are going back on their word there is not a thing we can do about it !!!

  6. Fellani was joint top scorer for us in his first season, he will be a quality player, its only the first game of the season and already people are slating the guy FFS, give him a break did you see him chasing back for arse's 4th at least he tried, and had a header cleared off the line. He playes for our club and always puts a good shift in so LAY OFF.

He is supposed to be our record signing for fuck sake !!!!he was up against players of similar age group today,Fabregas,Song,Denilson so dont mention his age.......he is shit full stop, there is nothing in his locker, cant tackle, cant run, cant shoot, cant jump....have you ever seen him make a slide tackle.....never !He was a last minute panic buy.Bet you Moyes would swap him for Defour right now if he could.

  7. anyone else notice lescott didnt acknowledge the crowd when he came out all the other players applauded the crowd he didnt this cant be good for the team its no use having a player there that doesnt want to be there...moyes has had long enough to sort it...lets do it.

Yeh I noticed it...........and I think this whole episode has definately affected the team......get shut now!!!

Lets face it how much is he worth 8,9 mill at most, and the soft shites are willing to pay 20 mill.....take there money and buy a decent CH,RW and RB and lets all have a laugh at the end of the season, even after todays show......

15 mill for Fellaini your avin a giraffe !!!

What the fuck has he got..........absolutely fuck all......and now everyone knows it was a bad panic buy

  8. Agreed.

No guarantees that this City revolution will succeed. However!

I wonder how many of you good folk are prepared to remove your Toffee framed glasses (amd i mean REALLY remove them) for a post or two and tell me honestly wether you believe, given time, it will be a success???

When you consider these guys ARE here for the long haul. having alredy stated they have a long term (10 year) plan to make City great.

You see what these guys are trying to do is make City the biggest club in football. Personally i think it will take a VERY long time. maybe never. But with 550billion backing you up....??????

I for one do think it will succeed.......given time,I dont think it will happen this year as some so called experts predict and I dont think MH will be there to see it succeed.

It may take years and lots of wasting money... on a much larger scale than we have witnessed with the red shite, as the Fat Spanish Waiter takes the shite further and further into debt.

I also believe that Everton should take the £20+ mill if we can get it and improve on the team the way we did with the Rooney money. As this City snowball gets bigger players like Lescott will be replaced by bigger and better players.Good luck Joleon :D

  9. Good luck to you mate and City.....hope you do wipe the smiles off some peoples faces, especially the "Sky 4".

Somehow I just dont think you have the manager to do it,he is under so much pressure to deliver that he is trying to buy success rather than trying to build it !

Imagine your training ground and dressing room......someone said that their must be about 12 different nationalities, not to mention the inflated ego`s in your team now....love to be a fly on the wall.

I`m one of those people who would love us to have been bought by the same group that bought you, because I feel Everton are on the verge of great things, add a nice little transfer kitty for someone like Moyes to play with and succes would come a lot quicker than it would do to City.

Anyway lets see how things develop over the season and in the unlikely event you do break the "Sky 4" lets hope its at the expense of the shite..... :D

  10. As for the Lescott Transfer...Sorry chaps, but i think you have missed the boat. If Golam hadn't been so gready you would have got 22mil for a player worth about 12mil. He was much to concerned with saving face and keeping hold of "His Precious" :P He has every right to reject any bid for any of his players, of course he does. But was that REALLY in EFC's best intrest???

Now you are stuck with someone who wanted to leave. Who would have trippled his wages (About 10mil in 5 years), Which will surely piss him right off. And who would have been at a club in a position to become one of the biggest in the world. Don't get me wrong. Everton is a great club to be at, but as much as you may disagree (which is your right :) ) But they are not in the same position as City to break the big time.

After a day of claims and counter-claims regarding a UAE-backed take-over of English Premier League club Everton, Chris Nathaniel – the powerbroker acting on behalf of the unnamed “UAE-based business consortium” – last night defended his role in the saga.

“I can confirm that I’ve met with Everton’s Chief Executive on behalf of a Middle Eastern consortium,” he said.

“Thus far the discussions have been at an early stage – and there is no more I or my clients can add to that at this stage. Everton is one of a number of Premier League clubs I have been instructed to approach for an initial discussion,” Nathaniel added.

With Everton issuing a statement downplaying Nathaniel’s role in any ongoing talks, Seymour Pierce – a firm employed by the club to search for potential investors – yesterday insisted Nathaniel’s comments were “complete fiction”.

However, Nathaniel – the managing director of NVA Management – hit back: “I’m upset that Seymour Pierce have felt the need to comment about something they clearly haven’t consulted Everton Football Club on.”

Nathaniel’s statement confirms – as originally reported – that while he met Everton on behalf of a UAE-based client, the discussions have apparently been held without Seymour Pierce’s knowledge.

A source close to the deal insisted there had been angry exchanges between Everton and Seymour Pierce over alleged crossed-wires.

“Seymour Pierce had no right to say what they said. What Nathaniel said is completely true and Everton know it,” said the source.

Refuting Everton’s statement that Nathaniel had called them to apologise, the source added: “Chris didn’t apologise to Everton because everything he confirmed [when asked on Wednesday] was true.

What the f**k is goin on ??? someone is tellin porkies and I hope its Everton !!!
