  1. Poor guy. If his agent just could shut the f..k up and let him think for a while and decide what he wants. He's just unsecure before a really huge decision. If he had been totally uninterested in EFC he wouldn't been visiting the Finch Farm at all. Despite all offers, that has been his only visit at any club so far. I think his choice will be either EFC or staying in Kalmar.
  2. As we thought, todays news about Rasmus Elm is that Lars Lagerbäck, manager of the Swedish national football team, says that he think Rasmus should wait with his move to a another league. That advice was very expected from him :-(
  3. Answer to Peter H: I read it on some news sites as well and I agree that he unfortunatly turned to the wrong people for advice. He could have asked me instead
  4. Looks or not...... He's an intellegent, sensitive and shy guy. He cares more about to enjoy life than money. Most players in Sweden takes the first absolutly possible offer to get the chance to earn some money and play in a better league. In worst case they end up sitting on a bench for a couple of years before they return (like Fredrik Stoor in Fullham). Rasmus is the kind of guy that wants to be 100 % shure that he will fit in, get a chance to play and have a nice time. If his choice will be Man City I'm shure he has either been fooled or persuaded by his agents because that's not the right place for him (which most papers agree upon). EFC would suit him very well I think.
  5. He has asked for one more week before deciding. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/2009/08/03/rasmus-elm-mulls-over-everton-move-115875-21567369/
  6. The folkes from Man City never turned up in Kalmar for yesterdays game. Rasmus says today in the papers that he prefers PL before other leagues and that he has confidence in David Moyes as manager which is important for him. He says that the size of the club or the finacial part is not that important as enjoying his life in the new club. With other words, there is still hope.
  7. Rasmus Elm scored another "dreamgoal" tonight when Kalmar beat Elfsborg 3-1......
  8. What? I don't get it? "Pettersson also confirmed that Everton are still to make a concrete offer". Why invite him over and make him interested and then don't bid for him? Just wait until the interest from other clubs have rised and then also, of course, the price. DM should have closed a deal asap unless there is absolutly no money at all? Btw, Fullham manager Roy Hodgson (who is almost half-swedish :-) ) is in Kalmar tonight to watch the game as well.
  9. If there is a bid (high enough) from Everton I still have hope he will do (from my point of view :-) ) the right choice......
  10. It was written in todays edition of "Barometern" that is a local Kalmar newspaper. They usually have correct information because of close cooperation with the club.
  11. On tomorrows top game in the Swedish league (Kalmar vs Elfsborg 17.00 GMT) the following clubs have requested access for their representatives to watch the game: Dutch AZ Alkmaar, German Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester City. No one from Everton. Does City really need more ?
  12. No it doesn't. It's a special nordic transfer window for buying players that ends 31 July. Scandinavian teams may still sell players during the ordinary european transfer window that ends 31 august. So there is still about a month left to sign Rasmus Elm for Everton. I really hope that signing Elm will be a success story since he is special and would mean the difference......
  13. According to Swedish news today Kalmar FF is talking to Everton and Aston Villa about Rasmus Elm. They want at least 3500000 pounds which they haven't been offered yet. Since Rasmus Elm has 1,5 years left on the contract it is now up to the club if they get a fair bid and then want to release him. So it's not now only up to Elm to decide about club. I can understand that Kalmar want as much as possible. Players not near the quality of Elm leaves for the same amount.
  14. I have watched every game he played since he joined Kalmar 2005 (I was even at Grimsta stadium yesterday afternoon watching Kalmar beat BP 2-1) and I'm convinced that it is a huge huge misstake not signing him. I'm not sure if this link is useable in UK, but if it is, it shows Rasmus goal against Hammarby some weeks ago. http://tv4play.se/sport/fotbollskanalen?videoId=1.983247&selId=1.1020308&currPage=20
  15. The first video is from Heerenveen. The second is from last year in Kalmar where Viktor still played with his younger brother Rasmus and his older brother David. Actually I think it is the first time a team has won the championship with 3 brothers in the first squad.
