  1. Would have liked to see Ossie benched, pienaar right and bilyaletdinov left... bily looked a big flat after the clash, maybe flat in general..

Happy with the points, not happy with the performance, here's hoping Peanuts is ok.

    Howard MOTM.

Baines, his blocking tackle likely saved that goal.

Kaboul looked like a mad man, expected him to take someone out.

  2. Tom Clancy - Rainbow Six ... My first Clancy book ever, quite enjoyable although he often uses poorly construed sentences ... Definitely a better writer than Grisham though, but that's the group of authors I'd place him in... Was expecting a little bit more.

    Tom Clancy:

I've always enjoyed Rainbox Six, perhaps more fitting in todays eco-crazed climate, though the nut jobs have always been around the masses are only started to be swayed by continual exposure to the media, truth or no truth...

Slated as the next Tom Clancy movie, I fear it will be crap... wish it was made 5-10years ago.

    My favorite's:

Without Remorse - simply awesome tale of justice! Especially in this day and age of judges giving slaps on the wrists to crims..

Red Storm Rising - read it 3 times and probably will again in the next year or so.

The Sum of All Fears - unfortunately the movie twisted it to suit the climate of the day...

    Larry Bond:

Just finished Red Phoenix by Larry Bond, a good solid read, as enjoyable as Red Storm Rising, love an author who can tell a story on a multitude of fronts and pull it off.

    Vince Flynn:

I've read every book, highly entertaining, earlier Mitch Rapp books are better but the later ones are still good value.

    Brad Thor:

I've read every book Solid. Enjoyable, slighly below the Flynn books.

    Daniel Silva:

Excellent, a sometimes fumbling hero Gabriel Allon is a wonderful character who cannot seem to get any down time from fighting Israel's enemies...

    Dale Brown:

Thoroughly enjoyed the early books, later ones went mad but I still read because I feel an attachment to the characters lol.

I've just finished an order of books:

All of Stephen Coont's Jake Grafton series, starting with Flight of the Intruder.

A number of James Rawlins adventures.

A book called Wet Desert (about a nutter who goes about blowing up dams in the usa)

A book called Triple Idendity... the blurb looked good and someone who was into Vince Flynn recommended me.

  3. What a derby finish! Now to find a stream.. damned foxtel.. ffs why can't we pay more money and get every bloody channel that provides football so we get every game.. I'd pay extra for that... 'stead of trawling dodgy websites :(

  4. I'm happy to see him in the squad. Thought he has always been great for Australia at international level and hope he does well at Everton. As has been said, bit of a hot head at times, hopefully it won't cost us.

To be honest I thought we may have secured his services before the window shut... given our need for a RB and financial difficulties... perhaps another excellent piece of business letting him lanquish for a month without playing, world cup looming, offering a lower wage and getting it accepted...

How much of the wage grab responsibility would fall on his agent? If the agent continually tells the player he's worth more and to hold out... or is it inflated self worth following west ham?

  5. My alarm went off, but I couldn't bring myself to get up and watch... now I wish I did!

Have it recorded so will run through it tonight after work.

Good result, especially if it brings confidence and team cohesion across to the league matches

  6. Can someone help me with sizing... I'm.. err.. plus sized :D

I'd hate to order one and get the wrong size.. it's a long way to send back from Australia..

The Chest measurement... which I presume to be taken just under my armpits... does the same measurement apply to the waist of the shirt?

    Your thoughts...

How does this news affect Everton and other clubs below the top 4?

Who in our current squad has to go?

Is Mustafi still eligible if he remains in our youth squad?

Will this mean that all clubs will by buying from a smaller market (England over 21's) thus pushing the prices up (Demand vs Supply)?

How will Everton compete in signing young english talent?

We picked up Garbutt, missed out on Naughton, what are other candidates for Everton's next 2 transfer windows?

Does this mean clubs over the limit must offload at the end of the season?

  8. PS3 slim coming out = "why did i spend an extra $200... to get 1/3 the hdd space an 2x the physical space ;)"

Happy with Fifa09, burnout paradise, other shooters and racing games on ps3 for entertainment.

If I get serious I log into WWII Online (Battleground Europe) and end up playing for many hours on end...

  9. 1) With last seasons injury troubles behind you what are your hopes and expectations for this year?

I would say that the troubles are not yet behind, however Yak is looking positive. I hope Mikel is not rushed back and comes back strong. If Saha stays fit and our other injured players return and stay fit then it would be my hope that we finish in the top 6 as well as making it to the FA final and final stages in the Europa league. My expectation is that we will fall short of 6th but remain in top 10 as well as exiting the europa cup and league cups by february.

    2) How do you feel you have done in the transfer window and do you feel you could have brought in more?I feel that financially, we have done well. I am sad to see that we had no punch in the transfer market without selling Lescott, however I think we extracted a good amount of money and that with the limited amount of time we left ourselves, spent it well. I would have liked another creative midfield and more right wing options. There's still free agents to consider, I think we'll not be adding anyone else though. I feel we've done enough to keep in touch with our usual pecking order rivals.

    3) What do you think of your new home kit?

I've only seen it in photos and poor quality webcasts of the matches, our PL broadcaster has only shown one everton game this season and that was arse, which i turned off at halftime in disgust... I like it, however I look forward to seeing something different next season.

    4) How has the possible take over talk been received, would you like Mr Moyes to have access to the sort of money Mark Huges has or would it make you a plastic club?I'm one who prefers to see steady progress, building talent rather than buying it. However, more financial muscle IS required to break into the top 4 consistently and sustain Champ League quests. I would hate to see us go the way of Man City.

    5) How do you think Fulham will do this year?Fulham have impressed, I think top 10, possibly another top 8 finish.

    6) Predictions for the game?

2-2 . I think bilyaletdinov will get more than a look in this time out and probably provide/score a goal.
