  1. Lille was absolutely brilliant, we occupied the entire (almost) section next to the away fans section which made for a great mass of blue. For Wolfsburg we have only 2,950 tickets which will all be gone within a day to STH with 6 always. Have been looking at the Wolfsburg site though and sections 39 and 40 are for what they call neutral fans (contradiction in terms !) and is right next to the away fans section, plenty of tickets available, I've got mine ! anyone else for section 39/40 ?

  2. Yes I read this yesterday also, quite confusing ? I went to the section "stadium interior rules" it's all in French of course and my school French is now some forty years rusty. What I did read in English is that there are storage lockers (big enough for a rucksack etc.) at every entrance so if you were not allowed to bring in a banner (flag is o.k. !!!!) you could store it in a locker and collect it on the way out.

Frankly speaking I think the club should clarify what the situation is and not leave it to the Foreign office ! The club know full well that many fans go to great expense and effort to prepare banners, the least they could do is pick up a phone to Lille and put a statement on the web site !

  3. Am pretty sure we will be about 10k, I have a ticket in section H which is next to the Everton section, hoping lots of other Blues have managed to get tickets in H and that there will be empty seats enough for us to group together.

  4. O.k. So Roberto is trying to be cute, suddenly a hamstring is no longer called a hamstring (most other clubs continue to call it a hamstring however) it's called a "soft tissue injury" as must be, ligament and tendon damage, add to that sprains and we might as well call all injuries a "soft tissue injury" doesn't sount quite as bad as a torn hamstring does it !

  5. When this first happened it was supposedly a one match absence as a precautionary measure because he had been concussed, now all we know is it's "a soft tissue injury" ( where is the soft tissue on your head ? ) but no update on when he is coming back or if he is even training, the club really are lousy at communicating these things.

  6. Thanks for this, I am thinking of seats near the directors box, not wearing colours but it would be hard for me to not be out of my seat if we scored, really want to have a few beers down town with the lads then go to the stadium as above, might be I buy a ticket for 35 Euros but still try to buy a spare in the EFC section and if so give the other one away.

  7. It's a 50,000 seater stadium which won't be anywhere near full, you can buy tickets directly from the club web site for 35 euros, do you reckon it is safe enough in their main stand ?
