  1. I was listening to 5 live last night and talk turned to Everton. Pat Nevin was on about rumors rife on merseyside that we are to be sold and very soon to mystery buyers. Apparently/allegedly at the moment they are taking the FA's due diligence test, the only stumbling block though is that they do not want Moyes as manager. On a personal note I'd like to see Moyes stay and for us not to become some rich oil barons toy but also as much as Bill loves the club I want him to go and now before we are ruined completely financially and squad wise. Does anyone know anything about this?
  2. I have been wondering about Arteta for a while now, he seems invisible at times on the pitch, certainly its obvious his work rate is going un-noticed. I don't think it is down to lack of interest though more the emergence of Coleman and with Baines getting better and better at pushing forward, he is having to change his game play and I agree the Feli's vast improvement this season has also not helped his cause either. Now the greedy peanut has gone i think if he were to go back out on the left and link up with Baines over lapping (as he did so well with peanut) we would see him back to his best, once the partnership is established think of the quailty balls into the box for Cahill to meet with his head.
  3. Hi 1st time poster, just wanted to say I have supported Everton all my life and made countless trips to Goodison and away games. However i live in Scunthorpe and have also spent many a year watching them, when finances make it dificult to travel the M62, so forgive me for being nervous and sceptical about Saturday. Glanford Park is not an easy place to come for big teams in the cup, I have witnessed many a side struggle there we did in 97 lucky to come away with a 1-0 win. They have also made it hard from prem teams to beat them away just ask Chelsea, Birmingham and Man City. I hope Moyes does not see this as an easy fixture and puts out possibly the same side that played brilliantly last night, though possibly with out Beckford.
