Lowensda
http://www.timesofma...on-trial.407147 Bjorn Kristensen’s prospects of continuing his fledgling football career overseas received a boost this week after the Hibs starlet began a trial with Everton. Sources have told The Times that Kristensen flew to England earlier this week after receiving an official invitation to join the English Premier League club for a trial. Yesterday, the Hibs youngster trained with Everton’s reserves side. Widely regarded as one of the most talented youngsters in Maltese football, Kristensen has established himself as a first-choice player for Hibs this season. The move to get Kristensen to do his trial with Everton this week was probably influenced by the fact that the 18-year-old can’t play in tomorrow’s Premier League game against Floriana after receiving a one-match ban for four yellow cards. Kristensen, who has been mostly deployed as a holding midfielder by Hibs coach Mark Miller this season, has been a fixture in the Malta U-21 side in the current UEFA U-21 qualifiers. His steady performances also convinced MFA technical director Robert Gatt to name Kristensen in the provisional Malta squad for this month’s home friendly match against Liechtenstein. Gatt has taken charge of the national team on a caretaker basis until the Malta FA conclude their search for a new coach to succeed John Buttigieg. It is envisaged that the Malta FA’s top brass will formally advance the nomination of their preferred candidate for the consideration and eventual approval of the Executive Committee members at their next meeting towards the end of this month. http://www.hiberniansfc.org/FirstTeam_Players.aspx?ID=53 Edited February 17, 2012 by tenaciousj

Zoo
Another defensive midfielder? If he is good enough then why not? Even down the line if he dosen't meet up to Everton's expectations we can always sell him off for a small transfer fee and use that to sign a player we need at the time. I'm all for it however I doubt we will see him in a blue shirt this season.
