Louis
http://www.evertonfc...unger-increases When it comes to Apple products, rumour and speculation is always rife.No sooner had the digital giant unveiled its new iPhone 5 handset and operating system last month than rumours began to circulate about the next big show-stopper from the US giant. Those rumours gained weight this week, with top news agencies believing there was enough substance in speculation about a forthcoming 'iPad4, iPad Mini' announcement to justify reporting on the possibility of an October 17 keynote speech. The media's pre-occupation with Apple and their future plans simply reflects the hunger in the marketplace for all things Apple. The first batch of iPhone5s available in the UK were sold out within 48 hours of hitting the shelves last month. However, it has been confirmed that five million iPhone 5s were shipped internationally on the opening weekend of availability. The prospect of a new version of the iPad plus a new iPad mini to add to its product range is sure to prove a hit with consumers. Click here for more on Apple's rumoured iPad plans. [Here's the Everton bit:] The launch of iOS6 and the prospect of new versions of the iPad hitting the market makes it the perfect time to launch an app. And that is precisely what Everton are doing later this month, with the Club's first official iPad app currently awaiting approval from Apple to be added to their App store. With 10% of downloads of the iPhone app having been made on iPad tablet devices, it is clear there is a keen market for the platform amongst Evertonians.
