Football Aid 2013 – Play at Goodison Park!

Recommended Posts

Everton FC have once again shown magnificent support and joined forces with Football Aid, allowing football fans the opportunity to grace the hallowed turf and play on their Field of Dreams at Goodison Park in 2013, while at the same time raising funds for charity.

Our magical event allows Everton supporters to ‘Live the Dream’ in an authentic match day experience. Players will gain exclusive access to the pitch and tunnel areas, pull on their own personalised shirt in the official changing rooms, walk down the tunnel to the sound of a cheering crowd and ultimately to step out on the hallowed turf and represent their club in a never to be forgotten 90 minutes of football.

The matches have also been supported by a host of Toffees legends, with the likes of Anders Limpar, Matthew Jackson, Football Aid Ambassadors Pat Nevin and Stuart Barlowplus many more all lending their valuable support in recent years, by playing alongside or managing the supporters in the hugely enjoyable matches at Goodison.

Securing your position couldn’t be easier, just visit www.footballaid.com and choose your club, then you’ll have two ways to secure your Fixed Price position: Option 1: ‘Buy Now’ - Our quickest and most popular option, or Option 2: ‘Sponsored to Play’ - Pay a non-refundable £100 deposit to secure your position and then simply pay off the remaining balance anytime before 25th January 2013.

So if you're keen to secure your place on your Field of Dreams this season, why not visit www.footballaid.com today to make sure you're part of the team! Alternatively if you’d like any additional information, you can call Football Aid on 0131 220 5999 or email info@footballaid.com.

Football Aid celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2010 and have allowed over 13,090 football fans the chance to “Live the Dream” in more than 501 matches. They are a groundbreaking organisation which generates funds annually by hosting charity football matches at iconic stadiums all over the UK. The unique concept was the brainchild of businessman and Football Aid Chairman Craig Paterson and funds raised from the event will benefit the work of a charitable project nominated by the club, as well as projects nominated by Football Aid’s parent charity Field of Dreams.

Anders Limpar - Toffee Legend

I don't laugh much. but that did warrant a snigger.

Matthew Jackson is a much better choice, even though 'not a legend'

Don't know why that was quite neglected, it doesn't seem as spam material. A Genuine offer to participate at a fun event.

Seems a bit expensive though ?

Not sure quite what to make of it, but hope you have a good event.

Do you donate towards this forum at all FootballAidMan12 ?

It seems to me you get free advertising for your company at the expense of our members here, (permission or not) yet have nothing else to contribute towards the forum. I wouldn't mind if you were specifically Everton related, but you are clearly not.

If you 'do' donate, then my apologies, but if you don't, then it's time you did. wink.png

Hi Avinalaff

Apologies if you feel what we are doing is free advertising however as MikeO kindly highlighted we are a charity and are only seeking to promote our games which allow fans to play at Goodison Park.

We appreciate that because we run games at many other UK based football clubs our interaction on forums isn't like that of a normal user and we apologise if it seems like we are one-time contributors. However we will at least aim to answer any queries which are related to our posts and help any users who are interested in taking part.

Finally just to clarify we work closely alongside Everton in the Community and thanks to the very generous Everton fans who have taken part in our games at Goodison we have been able to raise a fantastic £73,800 since 2001, all of which went to charitable projects nominated by EITC.

Many of the supporters who have taken part in our games have found out about us through forums and our only intention is to bring our events to Everton fans attention. As toffeetalk.com is one of the most influential Everton forums online that's why we chose to post here.

Hopefully you can appreciate our honest intentions.

Lol, I don't 'feel' it's free advertising Mr Football Aid, it 'is' free advertising, charity or not. smile.png

If every business / charity posted here, there would be little room for member discussion, hence why it was queeried. Had you mentioned you worked with EITC I wouldn't have asked, as we all support that here, but it all sounded a bit like a 'Race a Ferrari round the track' day out, which tend to be profit driven, and you have to navigate your site to find the charity connection, so no ill feeling intended.

I'll add a link on your behalf:

Good luck with the fund raising.
