Bill
Real deal possible Everton have identified Real Betis striker Ruben Castro as a fall-back if they cannot land Alvaro Negredo. The Goodison Park club are banking on Sevilla's desperate need for cash forcing them to drop their £13million asking price to make a deal for Negredo happen. A deal for Castro would be easier to clinch and the 31-year-old striker would cost much less from Betis. Castro, a former Spanish Under-21 international, has scored 55 goals in 95 league appearances for Betis, and was third in La Liga's goal charts last season. David Moyes badly wants to bring in another striker to take some of the pressure off Nikica Jelavic and Castro could be the man.
