Kevin Ratcliffe promises a lively evening when he joins his fellow Everton and Wales legend Neville Southall on stage at New Brighton Floral Pavilion next month. The two Goodison greats, linchpins of Howard Kendalls glorious side of the 1980s, will join writer and broadcaster John Keith for An Audience With Everton Legends on Friday, April 25 when they will talk frankly and revealingly about their careers and football in general. Ratcliffe, the most successful captain in Everton history and one of the quickest centre backs the British game has seen, led the club to two League titles, the FA Cup and the European Cup Winners Cup. His club and country colleague Southall, rated at his peak as the worlds greatest goalkeeper, shared in those triumphs as well as landing another FA Cup medal under Joe Royle in 1995. His Everton career spanned `17 seasons in which he set a club record 751 senior appearances and a Wales record 92 caps. The pair will answer audience questions after the show for what is sure to be a night of blue remembered thrills.
