RuffRob
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lakshmi_Mittal Recently, Mittal has emerged as a leading contender to buy Barclays Premiership clubs Arsenal, Wigan, Birmingham City and Everton, but has so far refused to comment. On June 25th Hong Kong businessman Carson Yeung bought a 29.9% stake in Birmingham City making a full takeover from Mittal increasingly unlikely.[11] Sources close to the CEO of British supermarket chain Tesco, Terry Leahy, have said the two met in July of 2007 regarding a development in the town of Kirkby, a suburb of Liverpool. 4pi
Could be thinking abit too far ahead. but everything just seems right going to kirkby and to say that this guy gets interested would just tip it all off. (yes i am for the move to kirkby, i live near preston and it would cut my journey time. but thats not me and my dads reason for backin the move!!) i honestly think that this is BK's thinking that kirkby would bring in the investers and take everton to the next level!! Maghull70
Well, that would explain why EFC seem desperate for the Kirkby vote to be "YES". For the record, I'm not sure whats best. I'm all for Kirkby but if this loop site is viable then that would be great (ive got a feeling its too small & expensive though).
Josh Berno
Now this is interesting but this dosent change my mind on Kirkby we still need to stay in Liverpool. He may be interseted in The Loop which would be good
