Louis Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Rangers defender David Weir needed stitches in a head wound after his car skidded off the road while he was driving to his family home in England. Weir told Scotland on Sunday: "I was 10 minutes from home when, I don't know, a gust of wind or a patch of ice spun the car around. It was a tricky moment. "I managed to get it on to the hard shoulder, facing the opposite direction but if I hadn't reacted quickly I might have ended up on the wrong side of the road and in the line of on-coming traffic. I don't want to make a big thing out of it but I was pretty lucky." Quote

Louis Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 If he is driving from his home in England, does that mean he still lives locally or has he moved to somewhere like Berwick? Quote
