Memmaclub
I haven't seen one of these for ages but who would you pick in the team and what formation would you play if we had a fully fit squad. I would play 451 Howard Nev Jags, Lescott, baines Gosling Fellani Arteta Piernar Cahill Yak I think based on me not seeing an obvious choice for the right wing that is where we need to get renforcements
EFC-Paul
I think Jacobson seems a decent player and i hope we offer him a deal at the end of the season as we need a good RB as most on here have said and he seems to be good, I also dont think Gosling is good enough to be a starting player bar the cross against the shite that got everyone going he has looked very avarage to me i know he is still young and has time to develop but for me Rodwell looks far more promising. NEVILLE, YOBO, VAUGHAN, ANICHEBE, RODWELL, GOSLING, HIBBERT. A lot depends who we are playing, but this team would have destroyed Sunderland. Ian C
Neville and Jacobsen are probably just as good as each other but Neville brings so much more to the team as a leader. And besides his rush of form at the start of this year, I've yet to see consistent proof that Arteta can do a job alone in centre mid without a destroyer backing him up, so I wouldn't do that myself. My team: --------------------------- Howard ---------------------------------- ------ Jacobsen ----- Jagielka ------- Lescott ------ Baines ----- --------------- Neville ----------------- Arteta -------------------- ------------------------ Pienaar (Free Role) ---------------------- ------------------- Cahill --------------- Fellaini -------------------- --------------------------- Yakubu ------------------------------------- Pienaar running all over the shop providing the work rate and delivery to speed up the ball around the box, and freeing him up to link up with Baines if they're getting joy there. Cahill dropping deep to pick up the ball with Pienaar, also providing a deeper chip ball to be flicked to Pienaar. Yakubu and Fellaini providing the targets in the centre. Not exactly orthodox but it gives us all our best players doing what they do best along with a flat back 4, a midfield destroyer, Arteta in the centre, and no Osman. I actually like the look of that mate would be nice to see it happen and how it would pan out.
dark
--------------------------- Howard ---------------------------------- ------ Jacobsen ----- Jagielka ------- Lescott ------ Baines ----- --------------- Neville ----------------- Arteta -------------------- ------------------------ Pienaar (Free Role) ---------------------- ------------------- Cahill --------------- Fellaini -------------------- --------------------------- Yakubu ------------------------------------- Pretty much the team that I would have too with a few changes (above: Grarghesies XI) I would like to see Pienaar in that free role. He runs like mad throughout the game and he would suit it well. Arteta needs to be further up in the middle for me. He woulden't work well alongside Neville. I would play him just in front of Cahill and Fellaini. Would love to have Owen in that team.
