efc1111
The club has been hit with a £45,000 fine, but Jamaal Lascelles (a Nottingham Forest scholar at the time) and his agent have also been fined for their part in it and warned about their future conduct: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2543872/Everton-fined-45-000-tapping-Lascelles.html
Romey 1878
Why did it take four years to come to a decision?!
Lowensda
Why did it take four years to come to a decision?! I thought the exact same thing.
troy8
As a club, who takes responsibility for this kind of misdemeanour? Would you blame Moyes being the manager at the time?
Lowensda
Probably not, I'd have thought it be a member of the negotiations delegates, liaised through the agent, rather than the club. Moyes had him as a target, someone just didn't follow the right process. Doubt its "tapping up" as some have suggested.
