  2. I've been reading various sites and we are being linked with a lot of talented youngsters.

    Lee Holmes (Derby)

Rossi Jarvis (Norwich) - in exchange for Patrick Boyle

    Scott Spencer (Oldham)

    David Edwards (Shrewsbury)

    Tristan Plummer (Bristol City)

    Ray Jones (QPR)

    Steven Fletcher (Hibs)

    David Nugent (Preston)

    The future looks bright :)

  3. I think it's a load of crap.

The way I see it is:

    Spurs Fixtures earlier this season..

    Sat Aug 26 2006 Everton (H) 0 - 2

    Sat Sep 09 2006 Manchester United (A) 0 - 1

Alex Ferguson was watching Spurs in anticipation of his upcoming fixture.

Gary Neville went along to watch his brother.

    No clue about Arteta/Cahill

Tim Howard/Phil Neville were allowed to leave because they were not getting first team football, AF is a friend of DM and the clubs are not too far away so players did not need to move house.

  4. Bookies are generally offering around 5-2 that there will be a red card in today's Mersey derby - in its own right a decent bet because in the last seven Scouse set-tos there have been seven sendings-off, the majority for dirty Evertonian gits.

But Gamebookers are out on a limb by offering 10-1 for a red card for Rafa Benitez's (above) Liverpool, and 10-1 for an Everton one.

Back them both and you are in effect getting 9-2 for a red card in the game. That's the good news. The better news is that on Betfair you can get 2-5 that there is NO sending-off.

Let me explain what that means for the hard of understanding (Evertonians).

By taking 9-2 that there is a red card and 2-5 that there is not, you cannot fail to make a profit, unless you're an imbecile (Evertonian).

Lob £18.18 on the longer price and £71.43 on the smaller and you get a return of £100 for an outlay of just short of £90, no matter what happens.

The danger of course is in getting only one side of the bet covered. You're on yer own then, pal.

  5. Never been in either.

I've been to Edwards and Eddie Rockets though! Edwards = cheap food microwaved and Eddie Rockets is average food and overpriced.

Have you ever been to a place called 'The Egg'? It's behind Rapid on the same road as the Subway on Bold Street corner. Food is nice and cheap but it's full of goths and emo kids :(

  6. I went to Newcastle in march for the week. It was a good laugh, we went to "the gate", st. james park and metro centre. We stayed right in the town centre too above the lush store so the apartment always smells nice ;) .

    Great week!

St. James Park train station is impressive with all the pictures on the wall and the floor tile football pitch.
