Fair enough I try to avoid watching them most of the time. Just makes him even more average.

He's very good at long range passing and shooting. His leadership abilities and his drive are excellent, which is probably why people overrate him.

Other than that he's good, but that's it, good. He's also a coward, a hypocrite, and although I don't know him personally everything points to him being a bit of a cunt.

Over the years I've read and heard loads of tripe about him, from people talking about him in world class terms to people suggesting he's the most likeable footballer around. If they win the league I can't imagine how unbearable it will be, St. Stevie guiding the paupers to victory through blood sweat and tears. Makes me sick.

Xavi's hair gel has got more footballing ability than Gerrard.

gutted, we were the better team and deserved to win, we had a lapse and they score a goal. other than that, we shut them down and looked more threatening. we need to finish, link up play is great, but put it in the box for heaven's sake.

That game was the very definition of 'character'. On a day when United and Newcastle lost and Spurs could only draw, this comeback makes a big difference to the season.

This, hopefully we can go to Spurs now and get the three points there as well and we're in a good position again.

Thought it would turn nasty at one point, the players seemed completely devoid of ideas, boos at half time etc. Credit to players and fans though, everyone got behind the team 2nd half and things went much better on the pitch, completely deserved.

People slating the atmosphere above, I agree it's been poor at times and it was poor first half (not easy to get going after the week we've had), but second half it was rocking. Well, at least the Gwladys was. Soaking wet as well!

 

We'll just have to wait and see if the money we supposedly have in the bank is still there come the summer. If we have to sell to buy again I'm going to be one fucked off Evertonian. But I'm sure the club will have an excuse ready, they've got a while to come up with it between now and then.

The thing is, as you (I think) have mentioned in another thread this kind of situation has happened way too often in recent years. There is one common denominator in all these transfer debacles, and that's the board. Maybe I'm just pissed off right now, but I feel like I've been fooled again.

Agree, but also think Stones should be moved next to Jagielka, and Hibbert should start at right back. I like Alcaraz and won't change my mind because of that performance, but he didn't look fit at all.
