i dont see the problem in fielding a weakend side. how often in the last games when we have nothin to play for do we play a youngster or two. league cup games, throw the kids in, give the other lads a break.

if you chose to field a weak side, and you lose draw or even win, why should you be punished? the managers job is to pick a team, if you have a european game on the tuesday whats wrong with resting a few (or 8) players on the saturday?

the lad has potential to be a great player, but we arent a club who can spend 12m on potential, id much rather us spend 12m on a finished article. Berbatov cost spurs 10.9m, and they are miles apart right now. (different positions i know)

if DM spent most of his transfer money on just one player id be much more questioning of him.

it wasnt a different shirt mike, it was just silver letters on the normal shirt. i'm sure they'll offer different letters if the players have them

im with mark, since the thailand incident this is the first thing that has happened, and like has been said, players havent been pulling their weight. our biggest thing at everton is team work and i honestly believe that with our players around him he shouldn't have anythin to moan about. his drive on the pitch could have saved our bacon a few times this season, maybe putting us a bit further up the table.
