Look I appreciate this is a free board and I think everyone is entitled to have an opinion but I don't think I have read a positive post by you ever its always doom and gloom. I could understand it when we were getting beaten 4-0 every week but at the moment it's quite enjoyable being an Everton fan.

You are so negative I mean Beattie isn't the greatest player and if you think any striker who is any good should be plying their trade higher up the food chain why don't we just give up now cos no decent striker would come to lowly old Everton according to you. But accept Beattie is pretty good by our standards because by your reckoning we aren't going to get anyone any better.

I hate the reds as much as anyone and don't think Crouch is very good but he is lanky and offers something different, whilst I might think Beattie is a better player, Crouch in the Eng team is only gonna come on for the last 15 mins to see if his height can help that is the reason he is there.

I always find myself thinking what about the summer at this time of a season even last season cos we looked stretched then. I always think in the summer its gonna be different and we are gonna get more quality in the side and should score more and be at least UEFA cup worthy but it never happens. This summer we bought a load of players and arguably our best 11 isnt any stronger. Arteta granted but we had him on loan last season so I dont really count him as a summer signing. We havent got a new striker which we needed most in summer and jan, van der meyde is always injured so still kilbane on the left from last season arguably left back is the only position we are any stronger in than last season and that is only cos Pistone and Naysmith are utter shite. Ferrari may be pretty good but I think he will go back to Roma in the summer so at the end of this season despite the millions Moyes spent over summer I think our first choice 11 will be pretty much exactly the same as it was at the end of last season. I cant see that dramatically improving over the summer I dont want to be pessimistic but if we get a striker it will be someone like Nugent not a big name.

Intervideo WinDVD creator which I got with my motherboard and hadnt tried to use till yesterday and I used VirtualDub as well which is a free program from the net

A codec stands for COmpressor DECompressor basically what it does is allows you to compress a video file to a small size so you can do stuff like post it on the net, if this werent compressed the file would be huge. But..... In order for your media player to read the file it has to know how to decompress it so that is why you need the codec lots of files on the net are posted this way and DivX is one of the most popular codec. If you type DivX into google you should find the codec straight away. Sorry to get all geeky on you there but that is what it is anyway

I made a compilation of pretty much all the goals we have scored this season apart from the ones in Europe and McFadden's goal against Utd. Apart from that I think it has most of our goals (there haven't been that many). To be fair I don't really think we need another keeper that badly I mean big Nige is def No.1 but cos he is getting old and gets a few injuries we have Wright as an acceptable backup, plus we have Turner and Ruddy. I can't name 3 goalies at most prem teams and we have 4. I think if we had bought someone like Poom on a permanent contract it is just going to put the younger goalies further down the pecking order. I wouldn't mind if someone like Buffon (yeah right ) came in since they would have a genuine chance of becoming 1st team No.1 but I don't think we need to get another full time goalie in as a backup the situation we are in at the moment is just a fluke. Sure get Poom on loan for a month but in the summer sign someone class or don't sign another keeper at all. Plus I reckon we should have got Niemi he is quality and I reckon Fulham got a bargain there.
