  1. MOYES LINES UP £1M SWOOP ON ALEX FOR JONES By Alan Nixon Everton boss David Moyes is set to move for Crewe contract rebel Billy Jones. Moyes, who would offer £1million, headed a three-man delegation to watch the left-back at Tranmere on Tuesday and spoke to Crewe boss Dario Gradi about him. Jones can also play in midfield, a versatility that appeals to Moyes. Crewe will sell because Jones is refusing to sign a new deal.
  2. Think it is for a loan again and we are wary cos he just had an injury
  3. Yeah I read that and thought Celeron Nooooooooo sounds a bit naff compared to that 4 gig or whatever beast you said you also had. My 3ghz Prescott is gonna go old and stale now I have an Xbox 360 maybe in a couple of years I will build another PC but with Dx10 and Vista just round the corner I see no point in pouring more money into my PC till the hardware side of things slows down a bit again.
  4. If we had one per week the thread would get lost amongst all the others... unless you used your mod powers to make it sticky Also, surely you don't need a week to come up with a good caption.
  5. I worked for MBNA for the last 4 years over the summers, it's prob because they are cutting costs because they have been taken over by Bank of America. It happened in late 2005 but you still say it's MBNA calling when you ring up otherwise I suppose a customer would wonder what they have to do with Bank of America. When I worked there last year no summer get together with free ale anymore, no car sharing or bus getting incentive, lots of staff had fewer bonuses. I guess this is just another cost cutting measure
  6. How about this one for tomorrow err... today now being as it is 1.35
  7. Can't help the name I was born with, I am registered as L_Blue so as not to confuse you old timers there is not much more that I can do It does seem odd tho I don't really know many Adam's in the real world must be something about being an Everton fan and being called Adam.
  8. Hi sorry if this is just blatant spamming but I just sorted out live this morning and so if anyone wants to add me cool don't have pro evo tho that is on PC for me
  9. More the merrier really, but if you could get some female participants that would help since every one on this board is male and I already seem to be getting a greater number of male responses at the moment and prob need to even it out a little. But thanks for whatever you can do it is all much appreciated.
  10. Ok well when I eventually get round to doing all the statistics I will post it for you and Ian thanks anyway sure you meant well
  11. Thanks to everyone who has said they will do the questionnaire I think I have sent a PM to anyone who has volunteered
  12. Thanks for the responses guys, I will send a pm with the link to anyone who says they will do it for me. Thanks again
  13. If I post my questionnaire for my psychology dissertation research up here would any of you guys be able to answer it? It's 27 questions long and it is multiple choice so is there any chance that if I put a link to it on somewhere like yousendit, you could download it highlight your answers and email it to me please? It's all multiple choice and would only take about 5 mins to do and I won't be collecting any personally identifiable info anyway. It's about mobile phone usage whilst driving so I only need responses from people who can drive. If you could fill one in could you just put a yes in this topic and if I get a few responses I will post it. Thanks if you could do this it would be much appreciated cos then I won't have to go out onto the streets of Manchester to ask randomers Thanks in advance people
  14. I cycle to uni every day advice ummm.... avoid the cars, don't fall off
  15. Lamborghini means Beattie expects Everton stay tribalfooball.com - January 07, 2007 Everton striker James Beattie is confident of staying at Goodison Park - if his new Lamborghini Murcielago is anything to go by. The People says the striker paid £190,000 for a Lamborghini Murcielago ... and had it resprayed Everton blue. But one team-mate quipped: "You should have got white paint cos you're off to Blackburn. ......................... Lazy arse journalists, so, right we are supposed to believe that coincidentally you were at Bellfield and overheard this conversation. I know everyone is aware that this kinda thing is a silly contrivance used a lot by journalists but it isn't even funny. There is no pun there and Blackburn play in blue as well anyway, I know it was just used to fill up a tiny piece in a shitty paper but the thought that someone got paid for that
  16. Power to the proles! Cheers for the link Mikey
  17. Yeah we finally get a pen in a game where it is of no use to us essentially
  18. Being shat on here, ah well
  19. The fact that they are releasing the first 4 eps as one disc is such a rip anyway I mean who is gonna buy it? I hate this kinda things and the endless double hyper mega collectors editions of films that they bring out when there is already 1 version out that everyone owns so that people will pay for the same thing again.
  20. Can't see it happening to be honest Mark but I am quite prepared to be wrong
  21. Steve_O I think Routledge signed for Spurs at the end of the season palace were relegated.
  22. Also he always comes out with some crap about wanting to get a few more players in who will not necissarily be first teamers but will be squad players just to boost our numbers. But he never does and then around this time of year he starts whining about us having one of the smallest squads in the premiership.
  23. From todays Echo: THE opening of the transfer window is always guaranteed to spark a number of weird and wonderful tales created to go alongside the genuine deals. For every one that has a grain of truth, there will be those that are the figments of someone's overactive imagination and - more often than not - will be found circulating at tremendous speed through cyberspace. One such rumour that emerged recently of which Evertonians may or may not be aware, involved Real Madrid making Joleon Lescott a prime target. When told the story, David Moyes simply smiled and shook his head in disbelief. Just to ease any anxieties, there is more chance of David Beckham coming to Goodison Park in the next few weeks than Lescott heading to the Santiago Bernabeu.
