  1. Merry christmas Toffees, have a great day!
  2. Falcao has proven at Monaco he's not nowhere near the form he was at Atletico and I doubt Lewandowski is interested in a move to anywhere else but Bayern. Eto'o is not cutting it and Torres and Ba whilst decent our not enough up front. I think Eto'o might go in the summer and so might Ba/Torres, if lets say Torres stays, Lukaku comes back and we bring in another striker I think it might work out well, but not someone high-priced because that would put way too much pressure on playing him all the time. Jose didn't refuse to play Mata, I was butthurt for a long time that he didn't play him but for the last month Mata has started most of the games and played well, especially alongside Hazard, as mentioned times before Jose wanted Mata to change his game and he's done that now, he's found the balance between rotating Oscar and Mata and Willian can also play in that central role if needed. De Bruyne got his chance last night and didn't take it so I'm guessing he'll be leaving in January.
  3. Oh my days, thank you toffees for that result, absolute gods you are.
  4. If Jose lets him go because of something as stupid as has been going on in the media lately I'll never forgive him.
  5. I don't think Lukaku's going on loan for another season, I'm quite sure that next summer it's either first-team football or a permanent transfer, I wouldn't blame Lukaku for wanting to leave if Jose said to him you have to wait another year. So I'm hoping he'll be a regular for us next season. But I do enjoy that he's playing great football at Everton,
  6. Oh my god, what a game. I must say I've found myself watching a lot more Everton games this season compared to previous years. From a neutral (when I say neutral I mean phock the scousers up up the beast) point of view it was a fantastic game of football. When Lukaku scored the 3rd I must say I celebrated quite a bit, it's like watching a bit of Chelsea play in exile. Disappointing for you that Sturridge got the 3rd, I was really rooting for an Everton win but there wasn't much Howard could to about the last goal. Starting to dislike Sturridge more and more I watch him play. Great to see Lukaku on fire though. Again, great game of football.
  7. Interesting about Thorgan, he looks like a great player and has been on fire for Zulte so far, but I must agree with the above I don't see him making it into the first team picture anytime soon. I kinda hope that he would at least get the chance to prove himself but knowing Chelsea Football Club I must consider the possibility of that never happening, if Thorgan was to leave though I think Everton would be a perfect place, simply because it's in England and perhaps it could lure some temptation away in the future when Barca or Real come calling for Eden, and I'm sure they will.
  8. Liverpool Red Bulls - with a Red Bull logo on their badge, ahh that would make me sleep well at night. ''You'll Never Fly Alone''
  9. Ah, that's what I was aiming at, the shirt sponsor isn't ofcourse such a big deal but if you look at Salzburg and New York both of them had their badges designed to look stupidly Red Bullish, I don't think that's ever going to work with Everton, it'd be too much of a riot. Anyways, these are just mild rumours anyways, right?
  10. Everton are one of the few clubs left in the BPL that are still English in my opinion, if you get what I mean. Even though the financial backing would certainly be a boost and at the current time that is exactly what you need to push through to the top teams. Even though with big money owners a lot will probably change and a lot can go wrong. QPR being the latest example, even though I don't think there's a way to recreate what happened to them, unless you hire Mark Hughes to show his genius once more. Changing the name posssibly the badge of the club and put a red bull logo on it like they've done to NYRB and RB Salzburg really would kinda bring down Everton's reputation as an example english team in my opinion. But then again I'm simply a bystander.
  11. Didn't watch the game but I heard a lot of the decisions went against you. Agree Lukaku needs to work on his stamina, that's why he was mainly an impact player last season at west brom, but he's quite an impact player to have. Chin up Toffees, I must say I knew Martinez was a great manager but he's still impressed me so far.
  12. Haha, so do the finns, quite a lot.
  13. I don't think Sunderland were the better team, It was a classic top-bottom match with Sunderland playing well but in the end Liverpool took what they had. Deffo a resurrection for Sunderland as they didn't play as a rock-bottom team. Against a weaker opponent I think they'll bounce back. Sturridge acted a real cunt I agree.
  14. What great day to be a Chelsea supporter, I don't like chuckling over others' dispear but poor mancs :D
  15. Given the balance of play 1-1 was a fair result. Mata coming on at half-time changed the whole course of the game. Spurs dominated the 1st half and we did the 2nd. Townsend had an embarrasing dive which resulted in a yellow card. And Vertonghen of all people had an even more embarrasing dive against Torres which after Torres outburst resulted in a yellow for Nino. It really was a truly pathetic dive by Vertonghen though, didn't expect that from him, he seems like a leader. The red card shouldn't have been. Both players made a foul and if one received the card so should've the other. Oh well, a point from the Lane is better then nothing. At least Torres played a fantastic 2nd half up until the red, and I hope Mata proved the he belons on the pitch. He was the soul of our team in the 2nd half. Also an assist to Terry's equalizer.
  16. To be honest I'm not impressed by it at all, I've only abused to demo so far but the game seems so slow and heavy that I'm not really bothering to buy the game at the moment, not to mention it costs 10euros more then GTA V, what a joke.
  17. Yes Ojamaa is also a great asset to the national team and he now plays in Legia Warzsawa or something, It's a shame because I quite liked the idea of him being at Motherwell but at least Anier now is making a name at Motherwell. As far as the rivalry, sure when we play there's a certain feeling of having to beat a neighbour but it's nothing as special as you'd encounter between for instance Germany or Holland, probably becasue neither of us have qualified for any major tournament. Indeed it was, here's another fun fact, the first ever World Cup qualifying match was played between Sweden and Estonia. Ironically enough we've never qualified for the World Cup.
  18. Most people don't know Estonia is a country
  19. Joel Lindpere, he plays for Chicago Fire.
  20. Domestic football in Estonia like pretty much all the Baltic countries is on quite an average level, I'm not keeping up with the 1st divison because my local team plays in the 2nd division. But as far as the national team goes it's getting better and better by year. We now actually have players in top leagues like the Bundesliga, Scottish league and the MLS. To bring an example here's a fantastic and absolutely crucial goal by from my hometown teams 36year old striker Sergei Akimov. This came in the 86th minute with the score 3-3 in a crucial game which was a must-win to reach the 1st division play-off spots. http://youtu.be/LaRPwWRRG08
