Moyes never set his sights firmly on the league cup did he? Which is kind of surprising for me for a team that's firmly in that 6-8 spot each season but not quite strong yet to break through further a competition like the league cup would seem like a real oppurtinity. I think Martinez will surely focus more on the cups but would a cup run hinder your league position? I think it would to be honest, but then again i'm not as well informed about the depth of the squad.
