Don't know what you guys think but is it not now a good opportunity to give a couple of yougsters a game? Anichebe in particular would give us a taster of what he offers. Electric pace and a pretty slick finisher with the rezzies for a while now. Would certainly give us a break out option with his pace! Vidarsson has made the bench against the Magpies and could benefit from some 1st team exposure. This kid is a 6ft 1" midfielder who wins a lot of the ball, distributes really well, regularly trains with the 1st team and has hit the net 4 times from 9 reserve starts! Come on Moyesie, give 'em a go!

Well Spud has certainly made the Prem sit up and take notice! If not Man Ure then someone will be after him. We are showing no ambition really which would make our better players think twice about moving elsewhere.

Spud is our creative spark and is currently the heartbeat of the team. He's not just a fancy flair player either. He gets stuck in and puts himself about a bit too. An all round class player! If we intend to keep hold of him we need to compliment the team with players that fit around his hard work ethic (current side proves this). We need to demonstrate our ambition to strive back to greatness. These are the key factors which will make Spud want to stay with the Blues!

Until we start getting into 2 goal leads with about 20 minutes to go, Moyes won't risk putting a youngster on! So, we just need to wait and see. Anchovy (Anichebe) has immense pace and will definately leave a few defenders behind once he's settled in.

Just back. Another solid performance from our boys today. Really flash stuff first 20 minutes, followed by a hard working, dig in for the rest. We've learned how to contain and scrap for control these last 9 games. Now we need to learn to kill games off as early as poss to take the pressure off. Great effort though as usual and certainly no complaints.

If Moyes really wanted Nugent he could've had him for 4 million as said by PNE. His unwillingness to take the chance on this guy, and others is a big problem to our further development. There will have been others he could've got had we not been so tight and prepared to take a chance. In our current state, we can't afford to be too fussy.
