  1. Look at the top sides' managers. They're all foreign! Mourino, Benitez, Wenger, Jol, (even Ferguson speaks a different language). Luxemburgo was shit enough for Madrid. He could be just as shit for us!
  2. The ultimate question! Think we need to go back to basics with this lot. We're leaking like the titanic at the moment (and we all know what happened there). So, first and foremost surely we need to sort things at the back. Let's get it right there so we stop giving goals away and at least we may get back to being hard to beat. (remember last season? we didn't lose badly very often and scraped loads of 1-0's). DM's staff MUST spend hours with these defenders and get them working as a unit. At the moment they're just individuals! Has Yobo decided to stop bringing the ball out off his own bat? They must learn to play as a back four! In the middle, our performances have been pretty good mostly and all DM ever goes on about is how much effort is being put in. Well, effort alone is not going to get us anywhere. Where is the forward driving midfield? What's up with Cahill? Let's play 4-5-1 again and encourage him to get forward while Neville holds the middle. Arteta is most effective on the right side, and when (if)VDM sorts his injurys out, he's very effective on the left, we should have a good supply for BT and the late arriving Cahill. BT runs a good line up front and is turning into a good hard working centre forward who links things well (if he has options). We need better players but in the current "no money available" situation, we need to get back to the basics of not losing. It's not fuckin' rocket science is it ??????
  3. Taxi for Moyes? More like a fuckin' mini bus! Take most of that dross with him please. Talentless buch of tossers! How dare they subject us to more of this. Carry the can Moyes, and FUCK OFF!
  4. It strikes me as ironic that Spud and Chuckle are the main two in our so called "team" who put the effort in week in, week out. They have the right mentality for an Everton side and only their commitment got them sent off. The prick Poll was a bit too card happy imo and although both were rash and careless challenges neither were dangerous and should have merited final warnings each. These guys showed the spirit to fight for the cause and for that I applaud them. Tonights main "tossers" are Yobo (1st goal) trying to play Lurch offside, Valente (2nd goal) gobshite for not throwing a block at Gerard, and Weir (3rd goal) for missing the tackle against Sissy.
  5. Agreed guys. Too early to judge the fella yet. Will need a few games, but we'll have to stick with him to see if he's got it. Looks the part and is supposed to a composed, striding out centre half but as we saw yesterday, he was all over the place when Villa were putting on the pressure. We've no other option so let's hope he settles into it and gets up to speed quick.
  6. Let's get real here fella's. It's DM's job to get us results. The methods and players he uses are up to him. Live by the sword, die by the sword. I manage people. If my team doesn't perform, it's my arse that gets kicked! You can only make excuses so many times. I would rather see some " non pretty" players putting the effort in for us, the people who pay their big wages. I'd love to see DM have the balls to make a big point of this shambles that is Everton at the moment. Carpet a few of these Prima Donnas and let 'em know they're not doing enough, and they're dropped. Make them feel like shite (as we do all too often) and get some of Holden's boys involved. These reserve guys will show you the effort. Desparate to make their name and break through. Teach the effortless ponces in that side that complacency won't be tolerated any more. I'd have half of them in tomorrow! Against The Shite! it's not as if we'll lose "respect". We haven't fookin got any at the mo! So, come on Moyes, get some bollocks and TRY and sort it out. If not, you'll be out of a job next week!
  7. Someone told me tonight that he's heard we'll be after Kenny Miller from Wolves in the transfer window!!!!!! Personally I'm not sure he's the right one for us. He's ok, but we don't need an ok forward, and I don't think he's setting the Championship alive at the mo. Rumours, eh!
  8. Everyone's spot on here with this Davie Weir thread. I've posted on this topic ages ago too. The poor old bastard's not up to it any more! Everyone can see that, so why is Moyes farting about with him all the time? Must be something to do with not dropping the skipper. Sure, dropping your captain is a drastic action and sends out all the wrong signals. The basis of the team's skipper is that he is almost always the most dependable and solid performer a team has. They don't have to be fantastic players but they need to be solid, no nonsense performers. Davie Weir HAS been this for us over the past few seasons. He DOES wear his heart on his sleeve but there comes a time when no matter how hard you try it just isn't enough. Now the guy is 34 and not up to the standard we require for a prem team with aspirations, which is what we need to be. So the big question is, "how does Moyes remove Weir of the armband without sending the wrong signals out?". ANSWER - Create a mythical injury for the guy and rest him (FOREVER). If he needs resting (due to injury) we can hopefully get Kroldrup settled in and big Davie can warm the bench whilst getting some nice coaching badges! Neville needs to pick up the armband asap. He displays all the characteristics a skipper of ours needs and does this most weeks off his own bat. Give him the ultimate responsibility and he will flourish, I'm sure. So, in a nutshell, "Davie? Do you want to develop an injury? Or do I just drop you and make a twat out of you in public?"
  9. I still can't believe what I watched on Saturday evening. Talk about gob smacked! How fucking light weight is our team? What commitment? Not asking much are we? Just to see a bit of effort for the shirt. Just for the odd 90 minutes. We've got every right to be annoyed. We pay a small fortune every year to see our team put the effort in for us. If we get out played, fine! But we should never get out fought! Some of these poncy bastards lack the guts to get stuck in. A very few will die for the cause but you can count these on less than one hand. It's not anywhere near good enough. In fact it's shite! And I, for one am pissed off with the attitude and fucking excuses we keep getting. All the hard luck stories! You make your own luck in this life. It's time DM got his fuckin' finger out and rocketed some of these lifeless bastards, 'cause if he doesn't get it sorted he'll be out of a job by christmas.
  10. I too was impressed with the little preview we got of VDM. It did appear that the rest of the team didn't realise he was there at first and he found himself hanging around on the left touchline waiting for the ball. Once they twigged though, his touches were good ones and he showed he can take defenders on and beat them. Makes good space for himself and doesn't appear shy to get a shot off either! Good quality balls into dangerous areas of the box were great to see. BT needs to start working with him in training to pick up on were he's likely to put his crosses in to. Looks a promising start and a much welcome addition.
  11. Check out your own pile of Red Shite fella! Won't be takin' the piss now will ya, eh? Nice one Palace. Give 'em a slapping, eh? Happy days!
  12. Is right Saint, well said mate! StevO, that's footie for yer pal. Saint is spot on there, we qualified for our right to compete. Didn't whinge our way in like the RS. We'll come off better for this. All part of the learning curve for us! Like to see The Shite get drawn with Villareal. See how they get on with them!
  13. Good shout Willo! Collina was crap tonight, made some really bad decisions and didn't use his liners at all. Benty tussling with that spanish geezer didn't interfere with the play! The liner didn't flag it either! Great effort by our boys though and we'll move on swiftly from here. Heads should stay up and we need some good press today to confirm to them that they did us proud.
  14. Yes Ladies and Gents, we can, and should be proud of our boys tonight! We showed again the spirit which epitomises everything our great club is about. There's a lot of pride running for our cause these days and that's something that Moysie instills in the team. No prima donnas like the RS! Good honest players giving it 110%. Playing for each other provides a passion and pride within the team which the RS couldn't (and probably would'nt) understand. We will have made huge steps in terms of valuable experience gained over these two games and we should look forward to a good run in the EUFA competition. With a few new quality additions surely to come in soon Moysie is building a solid, skilful and finally an attacking side which, in a couple of seasons time, will be challenging for everything. I, for one, can't wait! So, Ladies and Gents, let's be proud as always and give our boys our usual massive welcome back when we get together with them again on September 10th. Who'd wanna support any other team ????????
