Regarding official site..... not having a "splash" page is must better but I am not a fan of the menu system on "new" OS....posting back for each menu section is a bit annoying, the javascript based menu on the "old" OS was better.

I guess you work on the OS then Claire?

I dont like these trouble maker labels cos i know if i had been a footballer i would have been tagged with it but i'm not. I just grew up without a positive Male role model in my life and too many people turned their back on me down the line, with a bit of maturity i completely wiped away peoples perceptions but still hold a level of bitterness that i had to claw my way there on my own!
Very few people are genuinly bad and strong management, parents or peers can help the people who struggle and bring out the best in them.
Well done for sorting yourself out BTW.....agree to a certain extent about the label of "trouble maker" but for example, have you ever heard anything bad in the press about Tony Hibbert etc or other clubs "normal" / "quiet" players - I just think there is no smoke without fire where Barton is concerned.

I like the new site, just wish there wasn't so many advertisements all the time but they need some source of income I suppose.
Not had a proper look but is the ToffeeTV an expansion of the previous match highlights system they had before?

lol so long as we don't become known as "Everton, every little helps"...would be nice to have a modern stadium but don't want to loose the atmosphere. Was at City of Manchester stadium the other day and think there is not atmosphere to it, I suspect the design may be similar to that stadium.

There is no "neither of them" option in your poll.....but if I was forced it would be Milner.

Yes and have you seen who the rest of the Man City squad is made up of!
People seem to hear an alleged 'big name' get linked with Everton and just want to see us sign them all...reality is Moyes will only sign the players he thinks will fit into the team and IMO Barton does not, he is nothing special and seems to be a trouble maker.

We are talking in terms of a business here...if they are not fit to do their job why should I be paying them? If they have a sickness entitlement in their contract then I would obviously honour it...but businesses don't succeed by being all touchy feely with their employees, a business is there to make money.

No, no, no! Barton is too hot and cold, when he plays well he is great but when he is not playing well is he absolute garbage and seems to be bad more often that he is good. Would be a bad signing IMO.

Hmmmm, well if an employee of mine was an alcoholic (or similar drug addiction) I am afraid he/she wouldn't be an employee of mine anymore.

Another season long loan to see how he goes would probably be a better option.

I think VDM's recent press statement shot himself in the foot, basically admitting he has a problem. I cannot see him getting over it and think he should be gone. At the end of the day this is a business and any employee who is drunk for work would be sacked, in a job where your body & fitness is paramount I would expect much harsher treatment. Just look at that chelsea bloke who took drugs publically.

He is going nowhere, can't understand why people think he would go to anyone else?

Yep, Beattie for me too...top guy and deserves it ahead of AJ.
