  1. I think you are right I just don't want to over pay for him, which I could see happening.
  2. I know there are similar threads like this but what are everyone's thoughts on the remaining season? Us, Bolton, Reading, Pompey,Spurs and Blackburn are all fighting for a Uefa spot. Spurs have the easy remaining schedule out of all the clubs and worry me the most. Our schedule is not the easiest but I have faith we can finish in a Uefa spot. I think Pompey will start dropping and hopefully Reading will too. It will be tough to catch Bolton but it definitely is do able because of their recent form. Our season really comes down to the five matches from april 2- 21. This will determine were we finish in my opinion. Hopefully we can gain enough points in this stretch to secure a Uefa spot.We have Villa, Fulham, Bolton, Charlton and West Ham. It is vital that we take as many points as possible (obviously) before we finish with Man utd, Pompey and Chelsea. Any thoughts on how 5-8 will look at the end of the season?
  3. Congratulations you deserve to be relegated. What a pathetic outcome against Tottenham. After going up 2-0 all they had to do was defend for 45 minutes. A draw wouldn't have been a terrible result for us but they had to lose. It would have been great for us to be 4 points ahead of Tottenham with a big lead in goal differential. Edit: Sorry I didn't see there was a thread about this.

A lot of it has to do with the small squad in my opinion. To be consistance with a small squad you have to have very little injuries and we all know that hasn't been the case this year.
  5. 8 million sounds like a great price. I really rate him high but didn't know if we could afford him at 12 million.

Atleast we fought back for the draw. It would be terrible to come out with no points from the match. I wanted more but we did overtake Reading for all that it's worth.
  7. It is such a disappointment especially from him. It is going to be tough to contend for Europe without him but I am still optimistic.
  8. Nice, I hope to attend the match if we finish 7th. I really think this team can get 6th though. The team that worries me the most is Tottenham because of their schedule.
  9. Itunes might have one of them. Check it out but don't quote me on that one. Im not sure.
  10. I'm not that familar with this tournament. How does it work? I know it takes place in July and you can earn a spot to Uefa through it. Will Everton most likely play a game at Goodison, if they don't finish 6th, or is it really up to the draw?
  11. I was reading on the Toffeeweb rumors that Moyes was looking at the South American talent at this year's copa libertadores. He is supposely looking for a left winger. Although Guardado's club isn't in the tournament maybe this might be a sign that Moyes is still interested. Again this is just wishful thinking and I'm not sure how accurate the rumor is anyways.
  12. I have no problem with this. I really want us to push for Europe. That is the first priority. This is a good backup if we don't qualify for UEFA
  13. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...431&cc=5901 I'd be thrilled if it came to North America.
  14. I'm really disappointed to hear that from DeMerrit. I actually respected the guy and wanted him to be called up to the national team

Reading have Arsenal and Portsmouth have Chelsea. It could be a great opportunity to continue moving up the table. Who knows maybe Blackburn can beat Bolton.
  16. If only that was true . Maybe the Tim Howard deal can attract a very wealthy American to invest in Everton .
  17. I was very happy to see this. He definitely deserves it.
  18. I don't know anything about him but I wouldn't mind seeing Everton give him a shot. If there is anything we do well in, it is goalkeepers
  19. Im a little surprised its being played there. I never could get into it.
  20. Thats not too bad at all. I can definitely afford that.
  21. Are preseason tickets usually cheaper? I wanted to get to a game in early August and was hoping they wouldn't be as expensive. Your guy's pound kills my wallet
  22. I can't wait to visit Goodison this summer

1-0 Arteta . By no means is it going to be easy playing at Sheffield but I think we will win. Reading have Arsenal so hopefully we can pass this over the weekend.
  24. I think we have a good chance to do it. The next four matches will determine whether we make it in my opinion since the end of the season will be tough. Pompey has a very tough schedule and I think they will slowly start drop in the table. Spurs have the easiest schedule out of the four teams and I would assume they will do well. I think it will come down to us and Reading
  25. I have a lot of respect for Boothroyd after hearing his post-match comments. He seems like a class act.
