I agree but give him a little more time to adjust to the style of the Premiership and I think that will change. I am very impressed so far and hopefully we will be able to sign him.

I was actually happy with the way he has played the last two games. I was really hoping he would have gotten a goal to boost his confidence. I still want to see him sold in the summer but if he can increase his value and help us win I would be happy

Cricket World Cup 20 - 20 Update
Joe replied to jamiemaher85's topic in General Football and Sport Discussion
I really wish I understood the rules of the game. I'm going to try and make an effort to learn. The only problem is it's never on in the states. -
I think Everton would be a very attractive club for an investor to buy. Just the history alone a huge buying point. I wouldn't mind seeing a foreign owner invest in the club. Come on one you American billionaires, invest in Everton
-
haha I know I was just making a bad joke. It would be in his best interest to leave Chelsea and go to a place where he is going to play. I really rate him high and would love to see Moyes pull some strings and bring him to Everton.
-
Liverpool has got to be a cheaper place to live then London. Maybe that could draw him to Everton
-
I would like to see us pick up another striker, left back, winger and or another midfielder. I know that is a lot to ask for. I think if Man City continues to drop you might see Moyes try to go after Barton again. Also maybe even Reo-Coker if west ham are relegated. The guy I would like to see Moyes try and get is Kevin Nolan. If he is really frustrated about not being called up for the England squad he might actually think of leaving Bolton. Could we afford him probably not but he would be a great addition.

Im watching a show called Fox Football Fone-In. Its a 2 hour call in show where they discuss what took place over the week in football. It's hosted by two Englishmen and broadcasted for Americans. They also do a podcast on itunes. It is nice to hear Americans call in and actually talk about the sport. After that I plan on watching a show on cbs called Shark. It is a fairly new crime drama about a lawyer in LA. James Woods is the main actor. It actually is entertaining to watch. Then to finish off the night Seinfeld. Can never go wrong with that. Do they still show Seinfeld in the UK?

I feel lucky that it is on at 9:10 am here

I totally understand your point about it being a 38 game season and agree. Through out any season you drop points against teams you should beat and gain points against other good teams. My point has to do with the situation we are in right now. We are at position were we can make a run for Europe. After coming off a tough loss it is critical to gain 3 points this weekend. It almost is a must win.The players know how important the game is and should be prepared. If they aren't there is something wrong. Thats just my opinion. Who knows we could drop points to Watford and pick up points against Chelsea, Man Utd and or Arsenal. If that happened we would deserve to be in Europe but that is highly unlikely.
-
This game is on tv here as well and at 9am so it's not too early. It would ruin my weekend if they don't come out with 3 points. Hopefully Cahill can bring a lift to the club.
-
Thats pretty big news. I couldn't imagine catching something almost 1000 lbs.
-
If we can't beat Watford on the road we don't deserve to be in Europe next year
-
With AJ in it works well with having him play upfront by himself. With Beattie it is tough because isnt the type of striker that works well on his own. Goals will be hard to come by with Beattie alone up top in my opinion. I guess the formation really depends on the lineup
-
Fernandes may have been getting tired but he surely could handle five more minutes. I was impressed with his display today and thought he was a big difference why we controlled the midfield in the second half
-
I missed class to watch this shit. The first half was bad but the end was worse. I don't know why Vaughan wasn't put in earlier. His pace would have been very beneficial. Beattie has a very hard time playing up front alone and by putting leaving him put there you are just asking to play for a draw. This was the worse loss for me to take all year. Unbelievable
-
He is a limited player but his passing and free kicks are still world-class. By having him in he can change a game with one play. He deserve another chance and could also bring leadership. I also think he wouldn't mind coming on as a substitute
-
It would be fitting for him to play great against Tottenham .

I definitely want to see Liverpool for Everton and the Beatles. After that I kind of want to get away from a lot of the tourist areas and see some smaller cultural cities. I know that is the total opposite of Manchester but if it was worth going to I would go. Im a college student so I am up for anything really.
-
Everton and the Beatles are enough for me to come to Liverpool Is Chester worth taking a daytrip to or even North Wales for that matter? I don't know too much about Manchester and whats to see there but I'd still like to go a day
-
I'll be in Dublin from late June to early August and was going to catch a plane to Liverpool right after. Are there any areas close by that are worth seeing? I wanted to spend atleast three days in Liverpool and maybe a day in both Manchester and Chester. I have only been to London so everywhere I go in the UK will be new to me.

I have a feeling he will be gone over the summer. He has shown great potential but always seems to be injuried. He just needs to stay fit
