  1. The only gripe I have about Fernandes is sometimes he thinks he has a lot of time on the ball and gets dispossessed quite often.
I agree but give him a little more time to adjust to the style of the Premiership and I think that will change. I am very impressed so far and hopefully we will be able to sign him.
  2. ^^^

that maybe true but he's a footballer, he prob earns more in a week than a average person does in a week

haha I know I was just making a bad joke. It would be in his best interest to leave Chelsea and go to a place where he is going to play. I really rate him high and would love to see Moyes pull some strings and bring him to Everton.
  3. I would like to see us pick up another striker, left back, winger and or another midfielder. I know that is a lot to ask for. I think if Man City continues to drop you might see Moyes try to go after Barton again. Also maybe even Reo-Coker if west ham are relegated. The guy I would like to see Moyes try and get is Kevin Nolan. If he is really frustrated about not being called up for the England squad he might actually think of leaving Bolton. Could we afford him probably not but he would be a great addition.

  4. Im watching a show called Fox Football Fone-In. Its a 2 hour call in show where they discuss what took place over the week in football. It's hosted by two Englishmen and broadcasted for Americans. They also do a podcast on itunes. It is nice to hear Americans call in and actually talk about the sport.

After that I plan on watching a show on cbs called Shark. It is a fairly new crime drama about a lawyer in LA. James Woods is the main actor. It actually is entertaining to watch.

Then to finish off the night Seinfeld. Can never go wrong with that. Do they still show Seinfeld in the UK?

  5. Bl**dy daylight saving... it's on at 4:10am here in Melbourne. We 'should' win, but seeing that they're at the bottom, at home and are desperate, they'll put up a fight... 2-1 to us tho... with Osman and Fernandes scoring.
I feel lucky that it is on at 9:10 am here :)
  6. What kind of a logic is that?

I mean, if you go on to beat Chelsea or Man United later, will it mean that you deserve a UEFA Cup spot?

Dont get me wrong, you should be beating Watford and anything less than 3 points wouldnt be right, but still..that is exactly why a season is 38 games long. You might lose points at Watford, but you might gain some unexpected ones against some other teams. The best 6 over the course of the season go through.

    Just my opinion, like.

I totally understand your point about it being a 38 game season and agree. Through out any season you drop points against teams you should beat and gain points against other good teams. My point has to do with the situation we are in right now. We are at position were we can make a run for Europe. After coming off a tough loss it is critical to gain 3 points this weekend. It almost is a must win.The players know how important the game is and should be prepared. If they aren't there is something wrong. Thats just my opinion. Who knows we could drop points to Watford and pick up points against Chelsea, Man Utd and or Arsenal. If that happened we would deserve to be in Europe but that is highly unlikely.
  7. I took my mate a tottenham fan with me and at the time he litrally tapped me on the arm and said "what the hell is hibbert on for fernades for he's been the best player on the pitch by miles"

what the hell was that substitution? negative and crap a disgrace, why take fernandes off? why? he was running the midfield, 2nd half we had all the play in thier half they had two attacks and moyes thinks "oh no better play even more defensive" this defeat was shocking because it was all self inflicted.

Fernandes may have been getting tired but he surely could handle five more minutes. I was impressed with his display today and thought he was a big difference why we controlled the midfield in the second half
  8. Moyes is a fucking disgrace. What manager settles for a draw at HALF TIME AT HOME???? All patience with Moyes has gone.

All week he's being going on about us getting into Europe and we have to work for it, but he doesnt want it enough. He doesnt know how to get it, he is a twat. He wants versatile players but he's not a fucking versatile manager. He is so one dimensional it's unbelievable.

Im standing there as the players are coming on for the second half and I see Naysmith about to come on so I thought oh no Lescott's injured. But christ it's worse we're taking off a striker for him.

Im too angry to say much tbh. I felt like running to the touchline and twatting the ginger prick.

I missed class to watch this shit. The first half was bad but the end was worse. I don't know why Vaughan wasn't put in earlier. His pace would have been very beneficial. Beattie has a very hard time playing up front alone and by putting leaving him put there you are just asking to play for a draw. This was the worse loss for me to take all year. Unbelievable
  9. Joe, it does depend on your age and interests really

There is nothing cultural in Manchester

And louis you should be ashamed, we are the cabital of European culture next year

Seriously joe, what are you looking for

I definitely want to see Liverpool for Everton and the Beatles. After that I kind of want to get away from a lot of the tourist areas and see some smaller cultural cities. I know that is the total opposite of Manchester but if it was worth going to I would go. Im a college student so I am up for anything really.
  10. I'll be in Dublin from late June to early August and was going to catch a plane to Liverpool right after. Are there any areas close by that are worth seeing? I wanted to spend atleast three days in Liverpool and maybe a day in both Manchester and Chester. I have only been to London so everywhere I go in the UK will be new to me.

  11. I'd rather see it hosted in Oz. Less roadworks and hype here :D. Im of the minority who loved it when the world cup was hosting the competition and when you got up in the morning it was footy and once it turned 11am you had the day to yourself !
Thats how it is like every weekend for me  . Wake up at 4:30 am ,if Everton are the early game, and by 11am all the Premiership games are done. I would love if games were on at night here.
