Today the NCAA men's college basketball started. It is by far my favorite American sporting event and was curious if anyone here watches it. It is really exciting especially in the first few rounds because of the upsets. Is it even on tv there?

Arsenal have been playing better without Henry this year but for some reason I'm happy that Henry won't be playing. It is nice to see their three best strikers out.

That could very well happen but I wouldn't count Roma out of it. They are a dangerous team especially after seeing what they did to Lyon. Plus Utd will be without Saha, Solskjaer, and Larsson will be gone. That leaves just Rooney up top and to be honest he hasn't impressed me at all this season.

I don't think it'll be this summer we'll lose him but it could be in the near future

I think it really comes down to two things that he wants, other than money. The first is he wants to play in Europe. It is vital that we make it this year to show that the club is definitely going in the right direction and improving. The second is a call up for Spain. We have no control over this but hopefully sometime in the near future he gets the call up. He definitely deserves. If he did get a call up for the national team the situation might be a little different. It's just my opinion.

better than carsley by a far way. Probly as good as fernandes and on free what buisness that would be but he is a london lad and would wanna stay there. Spurs would have im on a free anyday

I'd love to have him in the central midfield as well but I agree it would be hard to sign him. Although I do think Fernandes is the better player.

I need a good read over the spring break. I never have a chance to read during the school year.

I just booked my flight to Liverpool and will be there for two nights on July 20-22. Maybe even Everton will be playing that weekend ( in the inter-toto cup) but I am not counting on it. I was just curious if anyone had any recommendations on places to stay? I am a 22 year old college student so any hostel or cheap accomodation would be ideal. The only place I have been able to find is the YHA hostel for 20 pounds a night. Cheers

I totally agree. For 6.8 million we would never be able to find a player that is good enough to replace him. Nothing under 12 million should be looked at and even then I would still want more. I really hope we can keep him. He is a big key for our future.

It would be nice to see what Moyes can do with a little more money. Overall I think he has a done a good job building a good foundation of players, especially this year.

It is interesting to see they are coming here to the states for the break. As far as the game this is really hard for me predict. I going to go with a 1-1 draw. Rosicky for them and Fernandes for us.
