actually down in Australia there is a brand called 'Sony' which specialise in electrical merchandise such as TV's, Stereos, Camera's etc, this is the brand thats sponsoring him and the socceroos so no free PS3 for timmy

Definately Fernandes got the best years ahead of him and with the guidance of Arteta he would become something to marvel at.

4. What was your best performance? i don't get to see to many games here in aus but the 4-1 fullham game was good and the 3-0 over the scum, i have the video on my desktop i play it so much.

10. Any reasons to be cheerful going into next season? things are looking extremely good at the moment, we got a great squad happening and we got Moysey in charge!

11. Reasons to be gloomy? lack of depth could prove difficult if were going to Europe but who cares, we in it!

12. Overall assessment of your manager? i sincerely don't think we'd be in the same position with anyone else, amazing and getting better.

13. And overall assessment of team? can give any team a hard time we've proven it against the 'champions of Europe' twice this season.

im gonna say 3-2 to us.

selling a goal threat to bring in a new goal threat isnt moving forward. why try and fix something that isnt broken, Cahill scores alot of vital goals for us even if he has been out for alot of this season, theres no point in removing a vital player to bring in a player who will take time to get used to our style.. that's if it even eventually happens. plus next year Anichebe and Vaughan will be better players plus we can play a 4-5-1 strat which we do so effectively, Andy Johnson has the pace and the ability to be a lone striker and we can then have an extremely appealing Midfield with Arteta Cahill and Fernandes (with the BT and VDM money). also anyone who says that a 4-5-1 strat is second rate or whatever i say bull**** doesent matter if you beat a team using 4-5-1 or using 4-4-2 you still get the points.

to move on you have to look beyond headed goals from corners as one of your main weapon!!! and moneywise we are not yet in a position to have our cake and eat it!!

i think having the ability to score goals from headers in set pieces is a great thing (after all any goal is still a goal) and cahill will definately help us move on compared to selling him and buying a LM, we'll never get an LM that can bring what cahill brings to our game for the same price. also think about this.. everyone agrees that we have done extremely well this season so far without cahill, image how we could do next season with Cahill Fernandez and Arteta. Plus i think the players will play even harder if they know theres a class player on the bench who can replace them.

Sell Cahill, Beattie, Naysmith, Van Der Meyde, McFadden. That should raise nearly £20m.

 

Bring in Nugent(£4), Fernandez (£8), Barton (£5.5) and Kallstrom (£6).

that sounds okay but i would never sell Cahill ever, even if he was 10m out of that 20 i would sacrifice Barton or Kallstrom or even both to keep cahill

big everton fan here from South Australia ive read the forum for ages just havent posted much but thatll change now :~>

i would easily pay £12m for Fernandes, ive only seen snippets on youtube (damn australia) of his skill and i know he can make mistakes but he is class. Moyes is looking to turn Everton into a top 4 team, as i see it at the moment.. Chelsea Man U Arsenal and Scummerpool are top 4 teams, we have shown this season we can beat scummerpool and Arsenal or atleast keep them at bay so we are nearly there. A player or two like Fernandes can move us up to the stage where we can regularly beat teams like the Scum and Arsenal and coast past lower teams with ease. if we do sign him our midfield top 4 will be extremely good on paper. :~>
