Agreed. I think Scotland deserved a lot more than they got from this campaign, I just wish that the majority of fans would be happy that England are doing well, as I root for Scotland in any game they are playing, unless it is England.

I think Diaby would be the perfect player for us. But I still think Riquelme would be a good sign. I would love Manny to come back, I wish we had him earlier, and Hoyte would be good, we need another full back.

If you're saying that his style doesn't suit the Premiership you could say the same about Arteta. He needs space on the ball and when he doesn't get it he sometimes struggles to perform, that's why both players have a good first touch, to generate space for themselves so that they can play their game.

I was the same, but then it all cahnged when Israel went 1-0 up . I was quite angry at the jocks who wanted Israel to lose today, I always support Scotland and Wales whenever they play, and feel that they should do the same to us as well.

Agreed about the Cahill point and the pace but Riquelme isn't a player who needs pace, he feeds the balls through, takes free-kicks etc. I'm not too keen on his attitude but believe he would be a good signing.

Matter of opinion. IMHO he is a great player, and if we get a player like Riquelme it will show the world that we aren't a 'small club', but actually in with a chance of winning things. It's not like we currently have any household in names in the majority of footballing countries, O.K most have heard of Cahill and McFadden on the international scene and the majority should have heard of Johnson and Neville but apart from that I can see why people think we are a small club. I think a player like Riquelme would change their opinions.

He should go for it. If he gets the job I won't lose any sleep, if he doesn't i'll be happy that he's here.
