  1. That line encapsulates exactly how I feel about it I am grateful to Moyes for giving us that hope AND excited that Martinez has given us beleif

  3. Barcelona have just been banned from signing any players for 2 years so I can see them recalling him now

  5. I went for Coleman, McCarthy and Howard for Player of the Season McCarthy , Barkley and Stones for Young Player of the Season Barkley at Newcastle for goal of the season
  6. Haf your full of shit, I have not tried to dilute what Roberto has done in the slightest Yes I have backed the job Moyes did at Everton but I have also praised the job done by Roberto, I can differentiate between the two, something you appear incapable of The only time I have criticised him was after the derby debacle when he got his tactics badly wrong and I have also said that in some games we need a plan B. I still stand by both of those comments but other than that I have been full of praise for him. I have even said we are better off under Roberto than we were with Moyes and that I was loving his positivity You just let your hatred for Moyes get in the way of everything, it is possible to defend Moyes without having a go at Roberto For the sake of everyone else I wont say anymore on the matter

  9. For your information I am not failing to grasp that concept at all , its the reporters bullshit that I was referring to when I said it was total bollocks As soon as I read the following I knew the article was total bollocks "Ok, even supposing we look past the "low-cost" signings of Marouane Fellaini (£19 million), Yakubu Aiyegbeni (£15m), Diniyar Bilyaletdinov (£9m) and so on, what now of Martinez guiding Everton to a genuine top-four finish with a negative net-spend of £12.5 million or so? " If the author couldnt be arsed enough to research his facts before publishing then that tells me all I need to know about his credibilty, I am in total agreement with this piece by Phil Kirkbride that I posted in the Martinez thread so I have absolutely no problem with waht Roberto is trying to do but the fact remains that the reporter was trying to use stats to bash Moyes with and in the cold hard light of day , apart from us beating a very poor Man Utd 1-0 our record against he top sides is still just as bad

  15. The article was complete nonsense It was factually incorrect for a start and then tried to make out that Roberto had ended our problems playing away at the top teams just because we beat United 1-0. It's not like they have been invincible this year is it? He didn't mention that we lost at Chelsea lost at Spurs and got trounced at Arsenal,City and Analfield Some criticism of Moyes is perfectly valid but you can't just make shit up and tell half truths to suit your argument, which is basically what that reporter did
  16. Everton are keeping an eye on Sampdoria prospect Giacomo Calo. The 17-year-old has starred for Sampdoria's youth side this season, scoring ten goals from midfield. The Genoa-based side are preparing to offer him his first professional contract, but they could face a struggle to keep hold of him. Everton are one of a number of sides on his trail, although Roberto Martinez will have to fend off interest from Spain to land the young Italian. 17. No Haf you don't get it at all I'm just appreciative of the job he did at Everton but unlike you I couldn't give a toss what he does or doesn't do at United or anywhere else for that matter What I do struggle with is people trying to rewrite history to suit their own agenda
  18. Haf I really couldn't give a shit what is going on at Old Trafford because I don't support Man Utd and I am completely over Moyse I'm not the one who keeps banging on about him or his current club I merely pointed out that the article was full of shit You are just allowing your obsession with Moyes to cloud your judgement This current Everton squad is full of players that Moyes brought in, including Stones and Oviedo, so it's complete nonsense to suggest he hasn't had an influence on how well we are doing now

  20. There are two problems with that plan 1. Its logical 2. It doesnt give journalists anything to write about
  21. Exactly, how can we start building on other peoples property?
