  1. Robert Warzycha, 49 years old today, although some insist, 51 now. Remember when he first arrived like yesterday, but didn't seem to stick around long. Played for Kendall most of the time, the other Mike Walker. Big things were expected from some quarters but I remember standout moments were few and far between.

I beleive Bob the pole was the first foreigner to score in the prem fact fans

  2. Apart from the fact we have no other choice than to be optimistic about him, I have a feeling him and Royston will be goodison idols. The thing we need in our team are unknown quantities - a pacy left winger and bustling traditional striker is something we aint had for quite some time!

Add to that they may give their team mates a renewed and varied focus of attack and we may just see some good things. We have been far too predictable with no imagination, these could be the playes that ignite something special.

Now that is positive and I agree, sadly you'll get the usual doom and gloomers who are all so desperate for everything at Everton to fail

    COYB's

  3. everton couldnt afford to keep him when £10m is on the table.

it suits both parties, we get to give the bank £10m, Mikel gets to play CL.

doesnt stop me being gutted, but head has to rule heart.

Very true, everyones looking for conspiracy theories and blameing this and that, I'll miss arteta, but I really think weve had the best of him and I trust Moyes to find the next Arteta (with a bit of luck)

  4. Why would Moyes leave?

He has one of the best jobs in the business, and the biggest alibi in top level world football should he fail.

I wish I had his job.

Dont we all, however its a bit different than posting your opinion on a forum, everything looks easy from the outside

  5. Although hes not a flying winger, Arteta maybe can do the job, hes done it before, thats where he came to pominance last time. lets hope he gets some form back

I think the only people we will be signing are more wannabies, which is not a bad thing, we've got gueye and the Greek who have got a bit of experience from last year. Maybe gueye will come good and be more of a regular winger this year

  6. Jeez, cant believe people are still thinking that a change of manager is what we need in order to progress, we need to back the current man who has done wonders

As I said in the opening post, realistically what do we need?

A winger is a good call I think and I would love to see what coleman could do as a right back with a winger in front

  7. With the season a week away, no new signings and probably still our best, most experienced squad ever(in recent history), what in your opinion do we need to do to strengthen our starting 11. (realistic answers, we can all dream of lionel Messi)

For me a flying winger is would be great and get tid of billy

  8. Point I was making is that another club feel that they can grab our captain for 1.5m!? Regardless of a sale, the offer is a complete joke and should be treated with the contempt that they show us. The vultures are circling an injured lion, Harry has already nibbled a piece and got away with it, he clearly fancies more.

We are operating like a league one outfit, unable to bring in anyone on loan whilst three of our strikers have gone out on loan in recent weeks. Ah yes, we've just signed a Greek seamus Coleman, more like moyes has used his last quid to buy another lucky dip...

Youve just re-iterated a point that just shows how jaded your view is. GIVE UP

  9. maybe the lack of outburst is because underneath it all theres nothing new to this situation

Moyes is renowned for keeping his hands in his pockets and not buying for the sake of it when times are bad

We all know we probably haven't got a pot to piss in, just like many other clubs and we have to balance the books, just like most other clubs.

At the beginning of this season most Evertonians were very very optimistic this year and we've fell short of that expectation which makes us all miserable.

Moyes probably thought we'd be a lot better this season with what he thought was a good team (and most Evertonians did, if they didn't there liars) and probably what will still think is a good team.

He's still bringing in no marks who could become tomorrows stars (Seamus Coleman 60K about 2 years ago)

With a bit of luck we can only get better

  10. He's not comparable as one of the best managers in the league as he is the longest tenured without winning anything. Not to say that we should have expected to win the league but his performance in cup runs bar a final and a semi has been poor. His performance against the top 4 managers has been poor also.

Theres not many managers in the league who have won anything, but just to re-iterate a point DM has been awared manager of the year a record three times by his fellow managers.

Maybe his fellow colleges see what he's done and doing even if the average person with the memory of a goldfish cant
