Suprises me to see so many people say Osman and hibbo, two home grown players who have so many games under thier belts, valuable prem experiance and although we can improve our squad in their postions, these two at a very least would be excellent players in our squads who always show the basic attrributes of hard work and passion

However, realistically the club clearly needs to cash to strengthen the squad in other areas and I'd like to get that cash in as early as possible as we hardly have a great track record in finalising deals quickly.

We needed to strengthen at the back anyway, other areas we have plenty of players (OK I dont mean plenty)

Im currently reading an Everton book called "whats our name?" by someone O'brien about the 2003-04 season, it a diary of his year following EVerton. Brings back some good memories and so far its a good read, can wait to see how it finishes

I went to see metallica in Sheffield last saturday and they were fooking awsome dude

Stayed over in sheffied and it reminded me that there are a couple of people who went to uni in sheff off here.

However, after spending one day and night in sheffield I have come to realise that it is quite a shite hole with no soul to speak of and pretty little else, luckily it does have the sheffield arena and it did have Metallica for one night only

The second best part of my trip was driving through the peak district, what a beautiful piece of the county, I will be visiting soon again

I've been to Madrid and would definately say it is a nighlife city. Compared to barcelona I found the touristy bit in the day not great, However, I would suggest getting the tour bus and you can go to and see the royal palace .

I would tend to agree with that prediction, plus our supporters will get a bit frustrated after the highs of wednesday I think this could be a bit of a dull game, I'll take that as long as we get the points

also it was just one game a good result...i don't like the fact we have a reputation for seeing this as a cup final or for releasing dvds to commemorate results. this sort of thing doesn't really help that situation, and although it's clever i'm just not one for it
