A player for the future? Apparently, Arsenal's interest in him has waned.

Do people pay money to watch you do your job? Do people follow your progress throughout ten months hoping you'll do well, apart from your immediate family?

I wonder how many younger players will get a game - there's a vital league game aginst Arsenal three days later, so several players will need to be rested. Certainly, I'd be surprised to see Cahill, Osman, Pienaaar and Neville playing.

He was going to get booked some time - at least now only one game is a league match. If he got booked later he would have missed two league games.

I think this subforum should be archived and closed because it serves no purpose. We might as well have a forum about what coulour aliens will be when they land their spaceship in Stanley Park. No-one is coming. The players don't exist, just like UFOs.

So, in midfield, there's a 17-year-old debutant, a left back and a central defender, and the knock on effect of this is that the third-choice left-back is playing at left-back. And the bench is full of youngsters who, suddenly, all at the same time, are good enough for the first team.
