i do agree 5 mill is a bit much, but wigan would want to keep him. van persie was 29 when man u bought him, so i dont think age has anything to do with it, as the lad has an abundance of pace.
 
i think this will be a shrewd bit of business and will support him as i do every other player.
 
i constantly moaned about anichebe, but like many other fans this season, warmed to him, so people shouldnt be so quick to judge.

Using stats we should go for Neil Lennon as he would have the best win percentage.
 
Lets not consider circumstances for those stats just as people aren't for martinez's stats.

Marcelo Bielsa Anyone? Looks like he's leaving Bilbao end of the season. He did wonders with Bilbao last season, granted he's not done as well this season, but neither has Martinez and he's linked. Id love him here.

Javi Martinez went to Bayern and a couple of senior squad members left, while they only brought in 2 new players. Also, they hardly played their best striker Fernando Llorente as he refused to sign a new contract. I would be ecstastic with Bielsa. Wouldn't mind his predecessor at Bilbao either, Joaquin Caparros.
