In this situation I think Real have realised that they need to pay big bucks in order to get Bale. Wasn't a £40m bid for Modric (when at Spurs) from Chelsea turned down, even after the player had made his intentions clear that he wanted to leave? If something like that hadn't happened as a precedence, I believe Real should have made bids beginning around the £25m mark, and whilst the first few will no doubt be rejected it will no doubt cause angst amongst the player and perhaps encourage him to seek the move as more bids roll in. I suppose fair play to Spurs for trying to hold onto their stars, but it's also not helping the rest of the game as it's inflating transfer prices to ridiculous levels.

I suppose my honourable mention based on my current avatar should go to Brock Lesnar. Perhaps would have been in my list if he had of stayed round longer.

I am a 90s kid, started watching around 99 or so. Have watched stars before that time but ultimately I think my first impressions have had a big impact in forming the list of favourites I have today. Did definitely get a kick out of some of those older wrestlers i.e. Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart etc. and matches before my time but what I grew up with just always sticks to me.

Rock, Kurt Angle, Undertaker, Stone Cold, HHH, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan for me.

Yeah, because everyone at their club would be naive and ignorant enough to use these words towards others. Suarez is the only problem but it seems like in doing this they're trying to make everyone suffer for it.

Been playing it on and off, started to really get into now. I'd say yeah it's a great game and all but I think it's also pretty overrated. Definitely worth having and playing through but just not worthy of a 10/10 rating, more an 8-9/10.
