  1. not good. not good at all. this will hurt us alot
  2. all i can say is it could be worse. in regards to blackburn, i think we are lucky to be playing them first, ince's first real game in charge, they dont seem as strong as last year. i think if we play well, if theres the motivation to do well despite the tough situation the club is in, i dont see why we cant get at least a draw if not a win
  3. in no way can we afford to sell baines. losing him would mean we'd have to replace him, and we arent doing to well at doing that with anybody atm are we
  4. what a champion bloke lee carsley is. i watched him play against sheffield utd on the weekend, he was quality for birmingham, gonna miss him this season
  5. seeing as mbia is apparently set to join everton by the end of the week, it now probably is unlikely that cana will join at all
  6. the sun linked us, blackburn and the barcodes with him today. defensive midfielder who plays for zenit, rated around 7 million
  7. i feel really sorry for them. its a big mess they are in, and no doubt they will almost certainly be relegated to the conference, gonna take a long time for them to recover.
  8. i keep forgetting we have to play PSV in two days time. how do we all think we will go against them?
  9. i agree with josh and heather, we should definately try joey at right back, if it doesnt work move him back to the centre and maybe even try jags at right back. im looking forward to seeing more of baines play this season, in the times i saw him last season i thought he was fantastic for us
  10. apparently has a lot of experience playing for bilbao, only 19 as well. havent seen him play but yeah does sound like hes decent
  11. i do agree with licker as well in terms of panic signings, but the thing is, imagine if we had of had an injury crisis middle of last season, a player like gardner would have been used. sure he was never gonna start above lescott, jags and yobo, except if say 1 or 2 of them got injured he might have saved us. but yeah i do agree that if we sign somebody we want them to be around regularly, and hope they wont be injury prone
  12. hahaha so very true. now that mbia apparently wants to stay at rennes, lets get this guy on board
  13. i realise after watching that video, he's crazy!!!!!!!!!! but still, that kind of aggression and hard working determination is a million times better than watching some of those pricks around the world who dive all the time trying to get free kicks and penalties. i wouldnt mind seeing lorik cana come to everton, would certainly be a player we'd never forget
  14. yeah he could be good for everton, definately a good replacement for carsley. but im assuming we dont want 2 defensive midfielders, so its hard to choose out of him and mbia, especially as i havent seen any of either of them. either of them seem to be suitable

    Hello

thankyou yeahhh there are quite a few aussie evertonians these days, especially due to tim cahill. its nice to finally hear aussie ppl saying i support everton rather than the supposed "big 4" which have been generally popular to support

    Hello

hey, a bit late i know, i feel bad i never formally introduced myself my name is troy and im from sydney, australia im a big everton fan, my father supports them as well hence why i do, started watching properly around the start of the 2006-07 season, since then ive gotten very much into it. i love everton and want to see them do well in all competitions
  17. atm i would be happy for any professional player to sign for everton as for smith, i think he would be decent, especially for that price
  18. i dunno about alan smith as a replacement for AJ.. he gets fouled so very often, but still he has shown some good skill and ability over the years. either way i think he could contribute, a tough decision though whether to sign him or not, but if its gonna be for 1.5 mil i rekon we should definately consider it
  19. i think if he came there wouldnt be that big of a priority to play him. maybe at the start of the season, but surely he'd know as well as anybody that any football team never guarentees your name in the starting XI. if he does come to everton and plays well, then yeah he should be there. if he doesnt perform then theres no reason to have him there every week
  20. i really, really hope this doesnt happen. moyes is good enough to be #1 at anywhere, and hopefully wont end up at united as an assistant manager
  21. rapids 1 - 2 everton i suppose this win will boost the squads confidence, although we still desperately need to increase our squad before the premier league kicks off
  22. haha yes he would be lol sorry about the multiple posts, computer froze <_<
  23. at that price, most definately would be a fantastic buy
  24. gotta say i prefer last years away jersey.. same with the home jersey
  25. yes! so very true. i personally have never seen him in goals, but from what i hear he was pretty handy for sheffield united a few times. has anybody seen him play in goal? if so how did he go?
