chris i know what your saying but this lad is top class mate, remember some of our best centre midfielders over the years havent always been big, peter reid, carsley (even cahill aint the biggest) etc

Can't see a problem with him, like Mike said Pienaar and Arteta were unwanted and look at them. Hopefully Lescott won't leave but if he does we'll need a replacement sharpish, and if we wait until we've sold Lescott then the selling club will be asking for more cash because we're desperate and have cash.

Great opener, although I'm not sure we actually wanted Cana, I think it was all paper talk. DM will more than likely surprise us again with the player(s) he signs. Although I'd like more money made available for new players I feel the only way we'll obtain that is by being bought out. Even if we sell Lescott there is no promise that the cash will be made available.

I commented on another post about why was Elm given the five star treatment, then for the club NOT to put a bid in for him? Doesn't make sense. I fear this is either another false bid, or more feet dragging which will see us lose the player.
Reading what i have i think this is more to do with the player rather than Everton feet dragging, Elm is waiting for a better offer or ' so called ' bigger club to come in. If he goes to citeh then he's a fool, too many players going there, of which most will be warming the bench. COYB

Utter left wing crap mate, it's people like you would have let Hitler walk striaght in. Mentioning rape and Brit troops in the same sentence is disgusting, I mourn each loss the allies suffer and wish them a quick safe return, but only after the job is complete. What is there to have in Afganistan to justify calling our reason there greed? We are there to crush the terrorist, plain and simple. Pinochet? Where did that come from?
