I agree Osman has been poor last few games - but in his defense maybe a rest has done him good? We're not there to see the form of the players on the training pitch so I won't be surprised if RM sticks with Osman at least for the first half. Barry would probably start and McCarthy a sub. Don't think Gibson is match fit yet. I'm more concerned about our strikers. Lukaku can't play, so do we go Jelavic or Kone?

I think a better question would be who to captain after Jags.There is no obvious choice, and the players with leadership qualities are old. We śeem to have a gap to the next generation.

The biggest compliment in the weirdest way, is that you'll not notice him. Because he'll do everything, so well and let the others 'shine'. He'll be the one pulling the strings without getting the recognition.

Gibson is like that... and Barry too. Seems we'll have a HUGE black hole in our midfield but somehow we'll be blocking shots and scoring goals out of the blue!

Let's give the new lads some time to settle in and see how they play. Once we get Gibson back to full fitness, I think we'll be quite competitive. I think confidence will be good with Fellaini not moping about anymore. Come back to this thread in about a month and we'll see.

I don't think Chelsea is the game where we'd be starting D-Lo. Maybe Kone ahead of Jelavic, but I still belive that Kone is out of form.

Oh my that was poor... And we have Chelsea next?!

I'll stick by my predict the result score and say 3-0 to us. I said Mirallas to score, and so will Fellaini and Baines in what 'could' be their last game with us. Stars must be aligned because for once the match is the feature one and not 'viewers choice' which means I can nip down to the local pub to watch the game on the big screen live.

My head is telling me that Cardiff are playing with the confidence that we should have. They're on a premier league high at the moment, especially after their City game. We've had three lackluster games so far this season, so I think it's time that the lads step up and give Cardiff a proper EPL welcome. A draw or a loss will really have everyone grumbling about Martinez - a win would be the boost we need - and might be the confidence lift that will get Baines or Fellaini to stay?!
