Last season, we stacked the midfield and won with a few boring 1-0 performances. Why have we changed? Obviously the 4-4-2 is not getting results. Would rather bore 0-0 draws than the embarrasments of the last few games.

Although our next match against Sunderland is crunch time, you have to look at his whole time at Everton. Not just this season, but last season, and two seasons before that. I don't see a new manager turning things around just like that for this season.

Well... we did manage to score... and we didn't conceed any more after Neville went off. Considering the match before against a 'weaker' team, I'm happy it wasn't a more embarrasing scoreline.
