well Standard just refused a 15mil euro offer on defour (which by todays exchange rate would equal 15mil £ i guess) from a moscow club. russians set to increase offer to over 20mil euro. wonder if he'd want to go there tho .. sure he'll make more money in five years than he would ever make in EPL or another top european league, but there's always the emirates for when he's 35 and feels like he needs more money. but i guess this does mean he's a bit out of everton's reach (money wise).

bleh .. the guy who won the green jersey (best sprinter) last year was banned this year from the tour the france because he was caught partying on cocaine (a drug that actually has a negative effect on your cycling qualities but the frenchies still wouldn't allow him in the race) ... it'll be more interesting to see what happens to cavendish against better competition in the next tour de france. also hope he's gonna focus some more on one day races .. think he's got a very good shot at winning milan-san remo some day.

(if only for those ridiculous handmovements the referees make when a player kicks a ball through the uprights)... Australian Football ftw!
