Also your suggestion that the little Argentine is lacking confidence in front of goal indicates that you have you no idea what you are talking about: Aguero is a player on fire who has been scoring at will of late.

I think this is going to be a really close game... City are lacking fire power this season so with their little Argentine lacking confidence in front of goal, put up against jags and distin (our rock) then I can see yet another clean sheet on the cards.

I think if we play to our strengths and pass it around at the back for 85 mins this would really intimidate City and really show them we are going there for the win.

I said it before the Wolfsburg game so am hoping for a similar game plan tonight. We really need to play a bit more direct at times. Lukaku is 10 times the player when he making runs down the channels, which i suppose isn't hard as his touch coming to the ball is woeful 90 pct of the time. I'm not saying going old school Everton and long ball all of the time i m just getting a bit pissed off with this 10 minutes of possession crap between the back 4. So as long as it's not Distin knocking them over the top or our ball boys will have their work cut out im hoping to see a bit of variety tonight.

I think if we see the normal slow build up in the first 15 minutes then this will pretty much be the pattern for the night. Hull will park the bus and be more than happy with a draw. When teams do this against us we struggle because we have no plan B......oh apart from bringing the great Atsu on i do apologise.

Just hope we go for it from the start tonight. This slow patient build up keeping possession is great for the stats but tonight I would like to see some urgency and maybe a bit more direct play from the off.
