  1. Title says it all...I'm a new member, and I'm looking to find like minded supporters in my area. What whould be the best way? It would be great to watch games with anyone around here, its always more fun to share the passion, right now I can't see games regularly and have no one to even discuss the goings on of the football season at the moment. Just wondering, take care. Oh and Southwestern CT, Bethel to be specific.
  2. In my opinion I would have to disagree, for one I feel he takes pretty confident penalties (although it doesn't matter for the weekend). As for his general shot, I think it relies more on placement...much like Saha actually. I would rate them quite close to one another, his work rate and eye for oppurtunity just has to get stronger. But I will stand by his spot kick capabilites, as well as Baines.
  3. Sigur Ros at the moment, and that's on Pandora...have yet to download everything, which is what I'd like to do. That brings me to the question, does anyone download form certain sites to get artist's discographies and what have you? I used to but I just reformatted my computer recently, sadly everything is all stock again and not allowing me to gain access to downloading software (like bitlord) which is what I used to use. Also: Souls of Mischief- 93' till Infinity The Cinematic Orchestra- Child Song The Smiths and a little Seu Jorge...maybe they can play some Seu when Jo scores (fingers- crossed)
  4. Basically, without harping too much about his Bolton performance, will he or won't he work out for us? ManCityMike sparked a similar conversation in a another thread, I guess I just wanted to be more straight forward with my questioning. I've been interested in this lad ever since City and ourselves had eyes glued in Moscows direction. He's got unique attributes and a great left foot. Personally I feel that Saha's "fit" presence can only help the situation, not intimidate him to the bench...but perhaps create a constructive working environment. I mean he can't do it alone, up until recently I assume he's been working out with trainers and a bevy of youngins like himself. As if there's nothing to aspire to in a way. Like I said earlier...way too much as been said about his debut, but that gave us at least a glimpse of what's possible and if nothing else we all know he's aware of how people think of him and his track record thus far. He knows these forums and blogs exist to be critical of the players. I guess what I'm getting at is: With obvious talent at his feet plus the desire to not be what many have pegged him to be, does anyone else sense even a bit of improvement and adaptation? BTW I'm newly registered and this is my first post, so hello to all of you wonderfull Evertonians. P.S. Like Saha's goal today, Jo has had many dripping with class...I thought he a had a great olympic run in the summer and his goals in Brazils final game were great.
