  1. It would be cool to see Vaughan playing right off of Saha
  2. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/everton/6879938/Tony-Hibbert-the-great-survivor-rises-to-challengers-at-Everton.html I wasn't attacking the man's character, he has the bluest blood out of any of em'. This article illustrates ALL of our points pretty well, that being said, IMO the monocre of "the great survivor" doesn't satisfy me as a supporter. That just sounds like the guy that does enough, granted I don't know everything and do not claim to, but I'm waiting to be impressed.
  3. Coleman must start...that's it, that's all. The kid has hunger, he must cringe when he sees every cross of Hibbert's hit a defender (as he telegraphs his long winde up,swing) Hibbert is complacent, rests on his tenure and does nothing of value.
  4. No doubt about the big man's passion for this squad...gave it to him today. Bily needs a little of that in his locker. Saha is not fit, perhaps Yak/Vaughan should be starting with him to help in attack. Great to see Nev on the bench
  5. I never understand why people prefer a soundtrack over match commentary...besides the fact that Max Bretos is irratating.
  6. Yeah how is Moses doing I haven't heard much about him this term?
  7. Honestly, I get the impression that he's uninterested. I guess. I'd rather the team devote time to having Jo bulk up and learn to absorb challenges...than worry about whether or not Yak wants to play for us. Despite the loss those kids (esp. Agard) embarrassed the shit out of Yak and his lack of work ethic. I say sell him.
  8. That armband should not be on Yakubu
  9. That wayward shot sums up Yak's night perfectly...it's like he forgot how
  10. Is Jo even on the bench? I thought he was injured...
  11. Really giving it to Yakubu in the halftime analysis...
  12. pretty horrible match Yak right now
  13. I think Yak should get some minutes regardless
  14. Didn't see any of this one unfortunately, anyone wanna provide some spirited player ratings? Great point to push on and go back home with Birmingham next week...
  15. I think I saw something about the 19th of this month...we'll see
  16. We can win this. We gave them tough games last term; different team, same mentality. We just need people to smother there play in the middle of the park and try and keep Drogba subdued. It can be done.
  17. Honestly, that goal against Brazil is fantastic. Not a fan of what I've seen of his personality, but if this materializes, coming to a club as unique as Everton will humble the shit out of the golden child. He'll realize his ego takes a back seat and no one individual is bigger than The People's Club. Besides that, we don't have money and this option is financially viable for actual talent...talent eager to impress like people have mentioned. We'll see happens, but I can't say I'm opposed. That is all
  18. Oh, and by this point I agree with people about Jo up top, he can certainly start, I'm just frustrated for him. Has to be really pissing him off not netting any. I mean towards the end of the season he was scoring some great ones from the edge of the box.
  19. Where did you find those comments by Timmy? I'd like to hear/read them if possible.
  20. This match had me on the verge of tears. Fantastic, textbook Everton spirit. I belive it dosen't matter who sets the example, as long as it's emphatic and with spirit. Hail Seamus. Saha was giving Howard marksman's advice before the pk as well "he'll smash it down the middle", Timmy just made himself big. I expect a response from this one, great great match.
  21. Yeah I was really pleased when I read this, and like you said Mike proud for both parties. Gotta love Fernando, those Nike ads are spot on. Anybody ever run into him?
  22. Great now lets appeal all of those yellows
