  1. I second this Steve, i find that stuff so intriguing. Also, you're right, creation and production of videos that simple would cost very little, and while we're on the subject; I bet I could find someone to re-design and code our website out of pure principal. It's dense, and in my opinion pretty unattractive. City have done very well to get their viral content on youtube...plus, it's all interesting, I can't stand the carbon copy interviews of our squad. Boring. The only way to get a real idea of their character would be with more candid content. Haha, here in the states, art students are certainly used to working/interning for nothing, there has to be someone with video knowledge that wouldn't mind helping us Toffees out.
  2. Very interested to see what Moyes does with his hand forced a bit...shame about Drenthe, but with all the talking Bily has been engaged in as of late, perhaps he's ready to make good?
  3. All of this just makes me incredibly sad...and I'm not sure I can comment further without writing an essay. I feel like we've had this conversation several times before.
  4. I'm pretty sure those are plastic snaps...they could have sown snaps over velcro, but that would be horribly redundant, and bulky. But of course I'm only basing this off of the tonal variation I see in the photo.
  5. I didn't really see many great chances, certainly not enough to run riot. I think we did have possession in the first half, but became lethargic in the second. Heavy touches from everyone besides Barkley. I hope that Moyes thinks about why they booed today. Negative set-up, fit for loosing
  6. We played 4-4-2 in the match last season at Goodison, just watched the highlights and Beckford was unlucky with a few but in many cases I just saw Coleman not taking the opportunity to pass ( at least two times in the second half in particular). I think Saha and Becks play well together, and given time could be our best option if Moyes chose to use them. Perhaps he did it because it was home and later in the season, but we're much more effective that way...if he's watching film from that night, he'll see that and I hope build from it.
  7. I think Beckford's challenge was fine
  8. Highlights please...Etv is giving me trouble with geographic restrictions, not sure why, first time it's happened.
  9. Tenacious, I agree with all of that. Most of the play was unattractive, not just our side of it. i'm not bothered by the result, especially after thinking about the match hours later; at first I was bitter because it was a originally a pleasant surprise to see them in a pub last night. I also made this comparison last night after seeing the Man U highlights, we could and should be doing something similar. That being said, I don't think the conditions were the same, on top of our formation not being as complimentary as it was at Bury. I'm a fan of Cahill as an individual, but I think we looked more threatening with Becks playing off of someone more inclined to attack like Yak. At least Moyes used Vellios for a good amount of time, but I would have started with him and Becks. With all this praise he's getting I wouldn't be surprised if that happens at D.C. I have a feeling we'll see a different team on Saturday.
  10. everyone looked swamped...seemed like awful conditions to play in.
  11. Can any Americans tell me what time and place I can find this match? Thought it was FSC but I'm not seeing anything on the schedule.
  12. I appreciate the help Patto. It's all about patience and efficient web browsing when it comes to evertonTV. Like people have said Bill, that page is the only one that would work so do everything to make sure Silverlight can run well, and try reloading the page a few times.
  13. No worries, sorry for the misunderstanding
  14. I guess I did, if that's the case. I'm no expert at inflectionless/ emoticon laden banter, my fault.
  15. I'm not going to boast about how great the Etv stream was or how the commentary was really worth purchasing...but I am interested as to why my purchase makes me stupid? I'm all about hunting for content online, but in terms of urgency this happened to be the best option. I made MY own decision, and decided to ask presumably like minded supporters a simple question. Let's not go and insult people for no reason. Thanks.
  16. Anyone using Everton TV? Where would the match be if you've purchased the pay-per view?
  17. I agree...not only are the stats in his favor, he's also exciting. In my opinion he's a pleasure to watch. Some frustrating moments, but as a whole he delivered. There were times in counter attacks last season that his ability to sustain momentum and pull defenders away from other attackers was invaluable.Tottenham (Home) comes to mind, as do his runs during the Blackpool (Home) match. If anything I'm excited to give him and whomever he's partnered with a chance. Something of note, not sure if it was mentioned in another thread, but two players Saha and Neville have gone out of there way to mention Yak's fitness on twitter, they seem impressed and I like that. I'd love to see a Yak/Becks or Saha/Becks partnership flourish next season. On things for sure, Beckford will get himself chances, he works hard for them, let's just be positive and hope they get put away.
  18. He can't stop scoring, all of his recent goals in international play seem well taken.
  19. ...but this lean guy is definitely watching it...yet, I too agree about registering for capital, not the best first impression...
  20. From what I've seen, I like his style. Certainly more than enough skill to be considered for a first team call up in the future.
  21. Seriously, came out of no where. Great match.
