  1. There are pretty much no crap seats. Even the ones near the back are amazing, and when your there it will be impossible to be pissed off with your seats. Because your at wembley. At the FA Cup Final. Watching Everton.

yer ur right, at the semis i was right at the back literally and the atmosphere was amazing! and the view was still as good even with my dodgy eyesight!

  2. The Farm are not involved. I know that for sure. And it definatly wont be a reworking of All Together Now. I think if there was going to be something it would have been done by now. Its not financially viable in the current climate, The Farm made huge loses when they recorded the 95' version, and that was when people still bought singles.

yeah i was thinking that myself... and to be honest this friend sometimes can get a bit carried away with himself, maybe there was rumours and it died down and he took it for granted they would be producing a track... Its 13th may now, and he aint mentioned nothing since so it must have fell through i suppose

  3. there is a song in the making, i dont know too much about it but "supposedly" a mate i have in the music scene, is working along some artists to come up with a tune for this years final, im pretty sure he told me the farm were onto it aswell. I wernt really concentrating the other day when i was ont he phoen to him ha, so sorry for the lack of detail

  4. Selling Cahill would be a foolish move. If Moyes sold him I think I might punch him in the face. Just becasue a player is getting on it doesn't mean that we need to "cash in". IMO alot of players move to Everton as a career move, not a money move, and a career is what they will then forge, staying with us for the long haul. Cahill loves Everton, we love Cahill. Selling him is not an option.

    absolutley agree :D

  5. hahaha! some dilluded people in this thread, First of all someone said by winning the fa cup we could raise funds lol not a chance, were not talking champions league money here yano! ... Now some one says lets sell this player that player, yak being one of them... obv bad he got the injury, he was our top goalscorer last season.. some ppl forget far too easily, plusss, our team does not have that greater depth, so buy selling 1,2 or even 3 players to bring one player in, is absolutly ridiculous.. lets all get a reality check... tevez will never move to goodison... anyone even thought of the wages aspect!

  6. The more i watch of Jo the more i like him. What with a good pre season down him and a bit more of premier league experience i think he could turn out to be a good premier league goal scorer. The only thing is if we want to break into the top four and win the euro league he needs to be more clinical. His build up play and speed are good but i think Moyes knows that the Yak is the only striker who takes his chances regulary and for that reason he will let Jo go back or take him on another year loan.

EDIT:- Merged with this topic as we don't need another thread on the same subject.

    Jamie

i agree with every point, other than the one in bold haha, his speed is minimal if im to be honest, his positioning is getting better but he needs to work on his sprints with and without the ball, an area which needs improvement

  7. We have done quite well against tottenham recently and i expect that to continue this weekend. Barring the Man Utd gamethey have been very impressive recently.

I am not sure what team we will put out.

    2-1 to us.

    Cahill and Jo

Yeah i dont wanna say goalscorers as the team could vary slightly again this coming weekend, who would believe everton are "rotating" there squad, even with current injuries lol... This will be tight i think, im going to say 1-0, going to stick my head out and say Yobo from a corner :)

  8. Plus, we haven't won away from home since Boxing Day

yeah thats not too good either, considering before boxing day our away record was absolutley brilliant, it seems are home form has improved (apart from city!) and away record has just dipped slightly

  9. hmm we should really be beating these, and i hope we do, but for some reason im thinkin we may draw, they have just been humiliated by west brom, and need to get back on top of things, and were better to do that than at ya home ground. I hope we win, but i think it may end a draw 1-1

  10. yeah everyone is hitting the nail on the head at the moment, he should have been rested a good few games ago, now its becoming silly, as hes still getting 90 mins ont he pitch. I hope to see a change come sunderland, we should really have enough int he tank to beat sunderland who got embarassed by the baggies on the weekend, so lets try gosling again, he has scored against them aswell if i rememebr so he could fancy his chances. Id start castillo again aswell i am seeming to like his presence in the squad at teh moment, a run of games cant be that harmful, and if moyes decides he lieks him after that, theres another cheap player, who can act as a squad man, who can also do the job in hand...

  11. has no one not seen on the away top, the pink lines that go across the shirt... one of the pink lines actually goes over the everton crest, when the rest of them are underneath, they should all be underneath the everton badge, as thats normally stiched onto the top.. have a look ... the first pink line that goes thru the everton badge actually goes over the top of the crest. I actually like the black and pink but im unsure as to if there real or not

  12. I'd rest a couple of players again here, possibly let Lescott have a breather and Osman. Yobo can step in and do a job again as hopefully he really get into some form as personally I think he is better equipped to play in the cup final against Drogba than either Lescott or particularly Jagielka as he is much better in the air and quicker. Probably give Gosling a run out and Vaughan 45 minutes as well, build him up slowly to unleash him in the final.

Going back to Yobo, I've been noticing some saying how dodgy he looks etc (considering we have hardly let in a goal when he's played in recent months I find that slightly unfair) and it's interesting to point out that when he plays we actually average more points than if either Jags or Lescott play.

I checked football anorak and with Yobo (played 21 games) we average 1.714 points per match, Jags (32 matches) averages 1.625 points and Lescott (31 games) 1.5806 points.

If you look at clean sheets then again Yobo comes out on top, he has 10 in 21 (47.6%), Jagielka has 14 in 32 (43.75%) and Lescott 13 in 31 (41.9%)

I thought this may be the case as although Jags and Lescott have been brilliant together this season (I have been getting more and more impressed with Lescott to be honest, he looks like a real classy defender, excellent in the air, good passer, composed and quick - Jags still struggles in the air and is a bit of a hoofer imo, although probably still our player of the season with Lescott catching every week) I couldn't remember us letting in many goals with Yobo in the team since those early few horrific games.

I don't know what the goals conceded are for those games played (which would be useful) but I think some people forget that Yobo is a very good defender and he and Jags were formidable last season.

and yes, I am an unashamed Yobo fan as I still feel that due to his attributes he is our best defender once he's had a run of games.

i think yobo is a quality defender myself mate, and why should you say you are an "unashamed" fan of him, hes been a really good player for us, and loyal at that too.

  13. hmm in my own opinion i think we will give city a hiding, how many of us, and be truthful, wrote us off at chelsea, putting it down to tiredness etc at wembley??... to a certain extent i did, but look how well we played... 2-0 to everton, in a comfortable afternoon, prefably hot too so i can get a tan whilst watchn the game :) haha ill say cahill (2)

  14. Ffs don't copy formula one

    haha

Man of the match as most ppl have said was defintely baines, an excellent and assured perfomance from englands finest left back.. I was really impressed with castillo, he broke certain play up pretty well and passed the ball sufficently. Jo maybe should have done better with his chances, but to get into those positions in the first place is half the job, so lets hope he is practicing his shooting skills! Jacobsen done well also... Overall a very good team perfomance against a very strong chelsea team, our team does not get enough recognition from others, if you look at the way some reports are worded on the game.
