I think the biggest problem this season with Osman and Hibbert has been the size of our squad. An the fact we had key injures. which has taken a bad effect on these two player an i'll explain why.

Rb we have Hibbert,Neville and Jacobsen. Now due to have no striker for most of the season, Cahill has been our striker meaning that Neville was always in midfield. Jacobsen has missed 90% of the season thro injurey so we been left with Hibbert.

Rw we have, Osman,Pienaar(plays on the left)AVM, Arteta(was in CM before getting injured an best postion is CM)Gosling, so basically we had to play osman.

Due to injures Osman an Hibbet have got in the team, as soon as there fit, not because there best choice but because we have NO CHOICE an there in lies the problem. No matter how bad they played there was no one to replace them, they had no competion for there places so they didn't need to put the effort in to keep there place. i dont deny they play well but when you have to play well to keep your place you play even better.

Hibbert i feel is a very good defender, but he attacking ability is woeful, he can't cross a ball to save his life, which is the main reason we attack down the left.

Osman to me seems a very good player but his fitness level is that of a sunday pub team at times. An i dont think a non stop run in the team suits him.

Keep both but buy replacements an have them as squad players.

What this obsesstion about Real Madrid? if i was a player i wouldn't be romotely intrested in playing there. the team has 0 stability, as there a new manager every 2-3 months. There not even a great team, my god liverpool slapped them 4-0 without really trying

As Moyes wants to push for 4th next season, i want to ask who you feel based on, who is the team were most likely to catch.

I think it would be Chelsea as there team is starting to age an there main players are thankfully passing 30 an 31. I just feel even tho they beat us in the cup there star is starting to fall.

However i imagine there gonna buy big in the off season.

not to mention Jokecastle were ment to finish above us as well.

We will have the same squad with a few extra addtions an i tihnk we finish 5th again. depending on what we buy as if we spend loads we might get 4th.

Wasn't it Arsenal that nearly brought Drogba for 500k the season before Chelsea paid that massive amount for him.

The main diffrence between us an the top 4 is that the top 4 not only have Strikers who get 20 odd a season but they also have 1 midfielder who gets over 20 goals a season, an right now we don't have that. Infact i don't think we have 1 midfield who has a decent shot from over 25 yards, like Liverpool,Chelsea an Utd do.

First off Everton need a striker that can play more then 3 games in a row without getting injured an can score, 2nd we need a top top creative midfielder( altho i think when Arteta plays in midfield we do have that).

finally it was in the English papers a few months back about Evertons home grown talent and aperantly we have a kid so good that they won't tell anyone his name as they don't want a Rooney repeat.
